johndrameyThe official Clan Javat vote is as follows. We ask for the colonization of Baza City, to be renamed Aurelius Prime by Javati vote. We ask for the standard startup package of a subsidized Hab Unit and Factory, then a non subsidized Mine. We ask that Javat Prime build another Mine, and if needed, a Hab Unit. We also submit our opinion of the Fleet's tactics in the future -We say that we create a large amount of Fighters that are medium Damage and heavier Hull to act as mini tanks to swarm and absorb damage. -We think Cruisers should be lightly armored and armed for Torpedo combat. -We believe that Carriers should be geared for Repair and Refuel only, and kept out of direct combat.

The views of the Thulun High Council of Lords are thus: that the planet of Hell's Razor be colonised by our defenders, the Steel Song, and that Ali's Star, Ursae Outpost and Jahant 6 should be taken by ourselves, providing a strong manufacturing and researching powerhouse in the midst of our systems. Leiwen should also stay as our property, for the various reasons debated in these August halls in the past.

Sorry, looks like we missed the deadline... If you're still counting votes though we'd like to claim Galantia, Chalicstine and Hell's Razor. Although the fate of Ogvidissio has not been finalized amongst the Houses, for now we would like to vote to claim this system as well. This should provide a decent stronghold. Still voting to scout out a bit further to the east of (tentatively) Salveria. We still need to focus on the planetary side of research for habs and exchanges.

The House Thulun agrees with squee's motion. Tentative scouting should take place to the east, and we have no objections if the SS lays claim on these systems.

squee, totally cool that you missed the deadline cause I did too! Had some stuff pop up last night and wasn't able to check the forums until just now. I'll collect all the votes right now and cycle the turn, try to get everything written up in a couple hours and post an update ASAP. Current votes stand at:Javat wants Baza City with its standard colony start up package (thanks for letting me know what your standard build order is, Brutus Aurelius). Also wants to build an additional Mine on Javat Prime. Song wants Galantia, Chalicstine, and Hell's Razor. They didn't submit any specific build orders so I'll just continue building factories/habs as necessary to keep up with population. Thulun wants Ali's Star, Jahant 6, Ursae Outpost and Leiwin. As with Steel Song, no specific build orders were submitted. Research is to be continued into planetary construction as the delegates from Steel Song requested, specifically reaching for hab unit 2 and exchange 3. Military make up is provisionally set as per Clan Javat's request, tanky fighters and torpy cruisers with carriers that provide support. However, no military research will be undertaken at this time. Also, T.F. The Prophet's Eyes will scout past Salveria. Cycle, BEGIN!

Your presence is required in the Council Chambers immediately. Personal shuttles have been dispatched, report to the Council Chambers with all due haste. Glory to the Council. ***TRANSMISSION COMPLETE***---------- Your excellencies, a most unfortunate event has taken place. As of the the sixth week of our second year we have encountered the Xeno. Not only has our fleet encountered the Xeno, it has happened in the worst possible way. In order to undertake your most exalted of plans, I had ordered the Thulunian Colony ship "Hope" to colonize the Leiwin system. Shortly after making ground fall, the colony's sensors came online to discover a nearby planet. This was nothing of note, as the planet was of middling quality and mineral density. I had filed it away for future report to the Council. Shortly after colonization, aberrations on Leiwin's sensors were incorrectly disregarded as radar ghosts. The Xeno have colonized a system on the outskirts of Leiwin's territory.Upon confirmation of this most disasterous of situations I called an immediate halt to all actions in the Empire and sounded a general recall for you, the delegates from the great houses. A decision must be reached as I fear we have very limited time to plan for Xeno incursion into our space. Delegates, your excellencies, I am but your humble servant. Our empire rests in your hands. What shall we do? Please, direct our empire with your impeccable wisdom. I shall not waste your time with a report of the measly 6 weeks that have passed, I shall instead attach a sensor map of our currently occupied territory as well as the situation in Leiwin. If any of the delegates have questions regarding fleet disposition or colony health, I would ask them to direct them to me. As overseer of the Empire, I have intimate knowledge of the intricacies of our Empire. Glory to the council. ---------- ***ATTACHED SENSOR MAPS***CURRENT EMPIRE CONTROLLED TERRITORYLEIWIN'S TERRITORY /ooc So, we got us a situation here folks. I'll tag everyone involved, and we can have our meeting today. I'll be around to answer any questions, and if we do reach a conclusion then I will try to finish out the cycle and post what needs posting. As I said in character, I can provide a full report of what happened during the last 6 weeks if you request it. Get going, boys and girls!

Scramble fighters. Thulun Prime must immediately begin production. Templar Defenders must race to Leiwen's aid, lest we lose the system. Our only other option is to allow the Xeno to take the planet and defend what we have left. However since this goes against the laws of Shalun, I'm sure, we must race to their aid.
Those poor civilians, they knew not what they signed up for. Hopes and dreams, dashed.

I say we quickly construct Thulunese and Song Fighters, then have the Templar Defenders fire either at range or up close and personal. I say no less than 5 Fighters must be ready, 3 on active duty, with two in reserve for ships that need repairs. Same with the Defenders. One pinging away with torps, the other attacking up close and personal to keep Xeno ships at bay.
