If I am to be forced to hear another of Brutus Aurelius's stories about shiny rocks he found, or more stories of how slayernz caught another dozen rats in the storeroom, I might actually go insane. Thank Shalun for the company of dragolord, xdesperado, and my other delegates, for without our lengthy conversations about Quantum Theory, theoretical physics, and advanced economics and how they tie into our alliance, I might actually have lost myself into deep thought about mineral extraction and killing things with my face. Could you imagine? This face actually used as a weapon- I shudder to think of it. Please hurry back to the Senate, Voice of Consensus. |

Mine # 304. It had lots of shiny spots and I'm pretty sure it is a raw gem. |

/sigh Rock jockeys and mercenaries... What did I do to deserve this? Brutus Aurelius- That stone does indeed look different, however. Send it to our refinement scientists in research lab 674, they have been analyzing several of the samples you've been sending us, and they say that they're starting to see traces of a few unique elements that are critical to several key alloy compositions. I have been receiving reports that they are on the cusp of several groundbreaking discoveries. |

Brutus Aurelius I think those shiny spots were saliva spots. I tried chewing on a bunch of rocks in #304 because I couldn't find any rats or steel song.

Blech. Dammit cat! I'm fairly certain that your saliva won't be of any help in making these super metals! I know that the Steel Song might be interested in this, however. If you liked the cat spit on that ore, you'll love the other secretions I added to it. Yay to johndramey ... welcome to the Voice of the Consensus. I understand if you have chosen to wind this game up. It would be great if you shared that decision with us so we can all go back to our respective houses and figure out how best to move on. Personally, I'd like to blow something up - like a Steel Song planet. But that's just me.  |

Hetting my butt through a chunk of turns before I post an update, but needless to say that it is getting worked on. My contract was extended through the end of this week and I've been juggling work with 4X. For some reason ST4X has grabbed my life again and won't let it go! Expect an update either this weekend or at the beginning of next week, everyone.
