I would love to say that I was expecting you to come up with something funny. But I wasn't.
Completely unrelated: our researchers have been following up on some studies linking a lack of vitamin D to decreased mental capacity and efficiency. The lead researcher is actually looking for case studies, I'll give him your numbers.

Just remember where the weight of advancing our society lays. Solely on our shoulders, evidenced even further by our willingness to abstain from needless nation building so that we might press onward with vital research.
Let the delegates from Javat remember where the blueprints for their latest drill technology were developed. And I would also remind the honorable delegates of the Steel Song that we drove the technology forward so that they would have fitting ships with whicht they will defend us all. You may feel that we are pompous, perhaps rightly so, but without us, you would all be using the latest in archaic mining technology and floating teapots with faulty torp systems.
