Consider it thirded. We need to know what we have to work with in our own corner. Scout that, than proceed in whatever direction seems best. Thulun will be needing a steady supply of materials to build our metropolis, so a trade meeting is indeed necessary.
Hmph. Early attempts at a loose alliance seem likely, but continued insults have a way of chipping away at that likelihood. Perhaps consider holding your insolent tongue and we can get something positive done here.

ncaoa we need to research ship building first to expand colonization effort so we have a more stable base. Once we can build basic colony ships then yes researching improved economic and industrial technology can and should take priority. Oh. For some reason I believed we had already researched colony ships. Even though I realize now we haven't even set down our hives yet.... Move along , nothing to see here. Just a senile old assassin.

And slayernz keep your spies out of my room at night. My cat, now I'm assuming fresh Javat convert just woke me up at 4:25 in the morning with a veritable cacophony of crashing metal. Dirty pull, old man.

I agree that we need to scout out more worlds to begin planning colonization. We should use all three ships to complete an arc pattern of exploration. It will save on fuel for all three of them, allowing for faster refueling.

Add me to the Thulun roster, please. And I'll be abstaining for this vote.

You may have made an agreement with the mole-cats of Javat you primped-up poodle, but you've made no such deal with us. Now let me talk to my compatriots so you can build us glorious porta-potties in peace. squee, ncaoa, I apologize for my absence, but I have been thinking and I would like to discuss a few things with you gentlemen in (relative) private before we make a decision.

I think I'll join Thulun, if they'll have me. I could walk right in to the others, of course, what with their… interesting general quality, but House Thulun seems the best choice. In pre-emptive certainty of the wise decision of the Council, I'll fourth the popular scouting strategy. We have to let the others think they count, after all.

ncaoa and I would like to set the steel of our blades at Traggath, and possibly look at Salveria for further expansion if no one greatly objects to it. squee, what do you say in light of all this information?

I'm just popping in to say that the polls have closed! I'll tally all the votes and post a detailed run-down of the results in a bit, I'm sitting in the office on a Saturday so it'll take me a couple hours to get things posted. I'll let squee get in the final vote since Officer Genious specifically asked about it in the post above mine, but new votes will be striken unless you make a really good argument why they shouldn't be. Awesome work, folks. This is turning into a huge amount of fun

johndramey I think that if a party leader fails to show up before the appointed time, then they forfeit their vote. For Officer Genious, we welcome you into the alliance and what you suggested is aligned with discussions. Right now, we MUST work together to get ourselves up and running.

ncaoa and I would like to set the steel of our blades at Traggath, and possibly look at Salveria for further expansion if no one greatly objects to it. squee, what do you say in light of all this information? (Sorry, it was a busy day) Thank you for waiting for me, gentleman and your majesty. Yes, this choice of systems is fine. During our scouting we will inevitably encounter new ones, possibly some more suitable for our first wave of expansions, so take it with a grain of salt. And yes, I supposed Tennath can be "promised" to Thulun for future use. Since this is a larger area, I would be more inclined to believe we have some time before we need to prepare defenses so we can focus on expanding. From our SS military standpoint we must first and foremost scout out and secure our outer, southern and eastern borders. The other houses are free to dally in the inner corner if they so cowardly choose.

The delegation from Thulun is in agreement concerning our vote for action. This vote being only to colonize the Epsilon system, we have no say, nor do we care what the other factions build at this point- our only focus is on bringing our hive to a suitable system.
