Welcome Home
Oy! The Templars have returned! Get ready, lads, we’ll need to be quick in gettin’ their ships up to spec.
-Stellar shipyard worker, 4th class
So there I was sitting at home and enjoying my shift off when suddenly Friday the 13th XXXII was interrupted by a blasted Council message. Can’t a man enjoy his few measly hours off?! Anyways, it appears the Templars are coming back to “guard” us. Take our supplies and make more work for the likes of me, more like. Oh well, if I weren’t working on repairing their ships I’d be working on getting the shitting factories up and running. Either way it’s me busting my hump for the Council and getting nothing in return.
-Talferd Gnomik, Thulunian shipyard tech, year 1.13
----------
The fleet has returned. It brings with it three ships in various states of disrepair, one of the cruisers is particularly worn. Since we’ve established landfall, true drydocks have been constructed in orbit. We shall commence refitting the Templar cruiser “Shalun’s Shield” momentarily. The Templars themselves have requested we not actually board their ship, instead we are to focus on the cladding and simply provide them the materials they require. Something about not wanting to disgrace the prophet with our presence.
In other news, I’ve received word that the other Templar ships are in orbit around
Steel Prima and are undergoing repairs and refueling themselves there. Hopefully those ships are in better condition than ours.
The Council has also dispatched construction orders to each planet. We’ve been since ordered focus on industry and our planetary leaders have started work on a new factory complex. We will be the envy of the quadrant!
-Riona Shella, Thulunian sector chief, year 1.15
----------
Another cycle down! We’ve actually had some pretty good things happen these past 10 turns, not the least of which was
finding a previously undiscovered planet very near colonized space!
I’ll give the same basic run-down that I gave last time, so off to the races!
Summary of actions
Research on Starship Construction 1 was completed.
Javat Prime finished 1 mine (year 1.15)
Steel Prima reprioritized its construction queue, finishing 1 factory (year 1.22) as well as hitting house capacity (year 1.18)
Thulun Prime finished an additional mine (year 1.13) as well as a factory (year 1.2)
A new planet,
Hell’s Razor was discovered just outside of
Steel Prima’s space. It boasts 2-20 minerals and 2-20 quality.
Military Report

And that’s that! We had a lot done, and now I need to know what to do next. As you can see, I took the liberty of naming our Templar ships. In the future, you guys get to name the ships that your house spits out.
So, same questions as always folks.
1 - What should I be building? Continue with the industrial plans, or shift over to Colony ships?
2 - If a colony ship is finished, who get’s what? Previous negotiations touched on this issue, but I need it ironed out in the event of a house finishing a colony ship.
3 - Next research?
4 - Anything else?
As always, anyone has questions or needs to know something they can’t access on their phone (whether not having ST4x installed or elite only info) just post it here. I love the roleplaying going on and hope that you are having as much fun as I am with this!
