"Finally." Drathis whispered under his breath. It took the Captain nearly 40 gallons of Water-fuel, but he was happy to finally be off of his ship. His mission was simple, but the trip wasn't. Then again, Enviren was pretty gracious with the offer and this was, for lack of a better term, too good to pass up.
After landing at Outer Reach Reach, Drathis walked out on the dock. He couldn't help but notice the rats, the scrawny husks that scampered around looking for a credit or even a job. While normally he would defer to his Military Officer, his attention was more on the Tent, with Star Traders hastily scribbled in the front. He increased his pace and sure enough, there was his man, dressed in a hardened suit, no doubt enjoying the looks of awe at his "fans", who no doubt enjoyed listening as he bought out the whole bar.
Drathis briskly walked in and ordered his drink. As he waited, he looked at the man and nodded, and after staring back drunkenly, the man realized that he was being motioned over.

Keller had every right to be excited. Serving in the Steel Song's army was the greatest thing he could of ever hoped for, and the successful blockade of Galantia secured his new promotion. On leave, he felt that before he head on to Steel Prima that he should at least have a drink and live a little. Sure, he spent a few creds, flashed a lot more, but companions he did not have... friends he could buy. Around the fourth shot, he noticed a man with dark brown hair and a smart green suit enter the Tent.
At first, Keller thought the man simply one of the few elite, but, he was certain the man nodded to him. Surely his fame didn't spread too quickly, and thought maybe the Spice was getting to him. However, the man seemed to stare intently at him. He even ignored the drink the bartender served. Perhaps this was a chance to get a new commission, or perhaps he would be able to assist the Songs' allies. He walked over to the protest of the other patrons.
After sitting down, the man looked at him and simply asked "Hello Keller Tafif, do you know whom I represent?"
"Well," Keller said in a cheerful manner, "I assume you represent the Song and are here with my new assignment. But before we can even negotiate, I believe I am at a disadvantage"
"Of course," the man took a sip of his drink. "My name is Drathis, and I represent the Songs' nobility. I assume that with the Spice going around you are celebrating? Is this a bad time?"

"This could be easier than I thought." Drathis thought as Keller told him of besieging Galantia. Keller explained that he was soon to be promoted and was expecting bigger and better "projects". Drathis explained that he represented the Songs' spy network and that there was an important delivery of information that was to be delivered to Tuscanae-Javat. The reward was to be very handsome, to be issued upon delivery, a nice 42,000 credits. The problem was that Thulun did not want the message delivered, and security was paramount.
"So, after a blockade, all I have to do is deliver this little package?"
"Absolutely. This is considered a priority. We would not be willing to pay 4x the distance if it were not." Drathis replied.
Keller looked hard at the terms, laid out on a holodisk. The terms, as with all Song contracts, were solid. Everything looked as it sounded, and the prospect of having more cash would secure his financial future. "This is something I could do. Where do I sign?"
Drathis reached into his jacket and hooked up the holodisk biometric scanner. "Just use your finger". Keller immediately placed his finger on the scanner, and after a confirmation and a jump from Keller, both men shook hands as Drathis rose from his stool.

"Mr. Tafif, I must be off and I wish you the best of luck." Drathis rose immediately and walked out... Keller somewhat following. Upon leaving the tent, Drathis heard a dull thud and many people surrounded what was presumably Keller. Drathis headed to his ship and contacted Enviren shortly after leaving orbit. The last thing he needed was some Steel Song finding him as easily as he did Keller.
