Our honorable leader johndramey has once again asked for our input on running the empire.
Here are my suggestions for the points he presented.
Build Orders: Both Steel Prima and Salveria have reached their population limit. They are also capable of sustaining another factory each. I move we build two hab units each and then factories. If we can secure the funding, I suggest we subsidize the factories on Salveria. Neither planet is anywhere near exhausting it's quality.
Also once Spice Festivals are available we should reclaim lost morale on Steel Prima.
ResearchOur scientists have almost finished politics 1. This gives us Spice Festivals, which restore morale by sending the population on a collective acid trip(why don't these things increase research creativity? )
johndramey has presented Planetary Construction 3, Politics 2, and Starship Construction 2 as possible avenues of research. Personally, I'm split between Planetary 3 and Politics 2. PC 3 Will unlock Palaces, which provide defense and housing while also boosting research and espionage. Politics unlocks Exchanges which will enhance our economy and allow us to take further advantage of trade agreements. It also gives access to a favorite conflict of our house, the Dual of Assassins, which replaces large scale Solar Wars with a more honorable conflict of single combat. What do you think?
Colonization: Ogvidissio seems best suited to us, but is far from the other colonies. The mole cat of Javat has lain possible claim to either Galtina or Chalicstine. Perhaps if they receive Galatina they may give Chalicstine? What does everyone suggest?
Colony Names: johndramey has requested we rename Salveria. May I suggest Xeen Prime?
Scouting:I believe we should remain conservative with our scouting and build our empire before expanding.
Diplomacy:A few trade treaties could provide valuable enhancement to our economy at this early stage.
It should also be noted that we are currently in an Alliance with House Thulun. Sadly, we do not have any trade to reap benefits from. But hey 'shrug'. Break out the Vuka, PARTY AT STEEL PRI , um echem, I mean let's invite the Thulun Delegation to a respectable diner. In a tavern. With lots of spice and vudka.
