I think some of the best coffee I've ever had was Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee. Long time ago ...
Maybe I thought it was the best coffee ever because I was on vacation, but I recall it being almost perfect =)

I've never got to try that one Cory Trese, but I hear it's one of the best.

Spent a year going to college in Jamaica and yes the coffee they grow and export from the Blue Mountains there is very good.

I'm very lucky and have 2 different micro roasting cafes in my hometown that do custom blends and get a lot of single origins in. My favorite single origins are Honduras, which has a sweet taste with no added sugar...its amazing and Indian Mysore which is very oily and thick.
My favorite blend is a high caffeine mix called babes rocket fuel.
Jamaican blue mountain is excellent, but don't limit yourself there are so many to try just like with teas.

slayernzMy cdm is close to the taste of pilão a brazillian coffee. I think the best and strongest coffee i have had is from brazil. Europe has nothing on either of these.... the coffee in germany was good but quite weak in comparison to the brazillian coffees. I have tried Turkish coffee and swedish as well. The swedish coffee was like in germany. The coffee in turkey was different not sure how to describe it. Espresso is good, but strongest espresso was in brazil as well. I liked the coffee in europe definately stronger and bettter than most american coffees. CDM happens to be one of the exceptions. Crimson

Crimson Brazil is a very good base for a dark espresso blend. Its sounds like you taste is towards dark roast coffees with a strong taste. Its kinda funny with coffee that usually the richer the taste the lighter the caffeine content, so there are two definitions of strong coffee. The most jacked up I've ever gotten was off a blonde kona.

Crimson, I've had really good Brazilian coffee, and also enjoy some great Colombian blends. I find that a lot of Italian type blends end up using south-american coffee beans anyway Regarding Turkish coffee, I have to admit that's not my favorite. The spoon seems to stand up in the teeny tiny coffee cup while the spoon begins to dissolve, and when you drink the coffee you have to keep your teeth clenched to filter out the thick coffee grinds Maybe I'm exaggerating, ... but not by much Here. .. have a pretend coffee

Oh .... one coffee that I really don't want to try is Kopi Luwak Coffee Mmmmm ... coffee beans eaten by a Civet, pooped, roasted, ground, and turned into great coffee ... Something is wrong with that statement .... I can't quite put my finger on it, and probably won't even with gloves.

There are several coffee types that require the beans to be consumed by one creature or another before they are retrieved and processed.

I'm really more of a tea drinker but I do love me a cup of coffee once in a while. Living in South Korea has turned me into a heathen, though..... . . . . I love instant!

I love instant! *ducks under a nearby desk* KILL THE MUTANT BURN THE HERETIC PURGE THE UNCLEAN although I'll have instant if there's nothing else available. Even right now I'm having a cup of crappy car shop coffee while waiting for my Volvo to be ready. I'll take anything but I am a bit of a coffee snob whenever possible. But I'm too addicted to skip a cup no matter what mud with caffeine it is

I love instant! *ducks under a nearby desk* I'm a lover of food and drink in general. When it comes to coffee, I prefer to hand grind my own beans, and take it without cream / sugar / milk, unless I'm having an Italian cinnamon latte (I buy my own syrups for occasional use). Delicious freshly ground coffee is on sale everywhere in the UK, but getting the beans is more of an arduous task. In supermarkets they usually have their own at two different roasts, a brand, and that's it. And saying that even the 'best' instant takes like fresh is like saying 'I Can't Believe It's Not Butter' tastes like butter* *For those of you who have never had butter: It doesn't.

Does anyone else want to slap the fuq out of someone when they say their favorite coffee is Dunks? ( slayernz insert cat beating the piss out of something) Or when they ask for extra extra? Or say they don't like strong coffees because they taste too much like coffee? I get so mad at people and sometimes I make a scene in public and people stare at me until I go away...
