I haven't fought the Great Shaman yet, have all the best equipment for my party from Oskahold, haven't bought a single potion, and I'm walking around with nearly 7000 gold.
Is that normal?

Seeing as the description for difficulty states gold rewards differ, 7k might be abnormally rich for higher difficulties but normal for lower difficulties

True. I am playing on Hard as usual. Still think that since usually im scraping the barrel this is exceptionally good. I still have at least 20 of most potions but the share ones.

abysmal - sounds like you are playing a build that is working for you better. If you don't use all the advantages of your Heroes, you'll be scraping the barrel and scrapping for potions, but if you play well, especially on lower difficulties, you'll be piling up gold. Stockpiling is good because you could easily spend 15,000 when you arrive in Riven Field to pick up all new armor, bows, shields, and weapons.

On better builds, esp if you op for a few re-peat camping trips, it's easy to accommodate a bit of wealth, even on Hard. Not so much on Nightmare. Another little trick is to put off buying better equipment as you find better or comparable equipment pretty regularly. Of course, only do that if your party is doing well. A good build, even on Nightmare, can save thousands on delayed upgrades which can be banked or spent or spent on mana potions.
I use a lot of Level 10 Firebolt so my wizard can chug mana potions in a long fight, which the reduces gold in Nightmare can make less affordable.

I found it fairly easy.
Always had the cash to buy the best gear every single time. And never had to buy a single potion.

Sacrifice Cleric is my new favorite way to use her. The whole group just gets to go nuts, while she just sits back and keeps the pace going forward.

I think kyera is cooler than fyona cos of sacrifice. It is such a great talent and lets you survive much longer between camps

Its a hard decision, kyera brings the best healing, excellent support and the only ranged holy spells, but Fyona has the way only negative resistance curse in the game, is a viable off tank on nightmare, and can clean house with a two handed hammer

The best single target healing is provided by Fyona. In Act 2 healing can be foregone because You find potions and cash in abundance.
Kyeras biggest plusses are Ethereal Anguish and Sacrifice along with tons of SP.

vdx have you tried a sacrifice kyera to fuel kjs lvl 10 firebolts? I did when I had a Kyera as a pure healer. My current and preferred build is her as a light melee fighter that serves as a flank guard. She does pretty good damage even with Lv 1 Smiting Blow. I'm concerned if I spend points on Sacerfice, she won't have the points to spend on Smiting Blow in EP3 or EP 4 (Currently at Level 1). I have Level 10 Warder's Shield (64 SP) as Kyera's big SP drain. With 348 SP, she can cast WS 2x, spread Level 1 Etheral Anguish (10 SP) everywhere (10-15x) and still have a decent amount of SP to use Level 6 Myshana's Tears (36 SP) 2-4x before she's out of gas. To reduce Kjarten's SP chugging, I have Burning Blades 5 and Chocking Ash 2, which reduces the party's dependency on Kjarten nuking the battlefield. Plus, by Level 24, foes are strong enough that one-shot one kill with Firebolt is a little harder to come by (give him some critical and attack bonuses and he does fine). In EP 1, I used higher level Firebolt as mob control (1 shot, 1 kill by the Keep). In EP 2, I have transited to using Level 10 Firebolt to soften stronger foes or take a chunk out of high defense / high hp enemies. I see a possibility investing in Sacrifice as Kyera continues to have more SP than anyone else.

Kyera only has Sacrifice at level 2, but for a cost of 30SP, restores 50SP. That, for the record is a 67% ROI. Exclusively feeding Kyera the SP potions makes logical sense because in one combat turn (assuming Vraes doesn't get pummeled), Kyera can cast 7x Sacrifices, using up 210SP and providing 350SP. That could keep Karj or Tami dealing ranged death almost forever. Yes, I could boost Sacrifice higher ... at level 4, she'd get a 68% ROI and in one turn for 350SP, she could give 588SP, but that could just be excessive Money certainly becomes a non-issue in E2, esp if you don't buy many potions and the like. If you can "live off the land" for potions and health, then you should be set. I never took Karj to level 10 firebolt ... he's a sharp-shooter, but I thought it best he begin to do AoE more often esp in E2 and the upcoming E3.
