looks like amazon changed the rules for testing today:
Your recent submission of Star Traders RPG is pending due to the following reason(s):
Your application's icon does not match the icon that appears on the mobile device's application tray. Please update the icon in your application submission OR your application tray icon to ensure they match.

looks like amazon changed the rules for testing today: I guess that explaines why it isn't up yet.  At least it should be simple to "fix". If I understand correctly, they're referring to the icon in the store? If so, I suppose I see their point, although each icon serves a different purpose. |

I already had to upload the icon in 5 formats and sizes (that are unique to Amazon) and they had approved 28 updates with the current icons. With 3.9.5 they changed the rules (no warning) and rejected the application.
It would not be a big deal if I had a chance to plan / prepare the necessary artwork. It probably wouldn't be a big issue is it was the same as Google.
My frustration is that we are failing to work together smoothly on behalf of the customer. No matter how much I attempt to work with them, I only get automated responses, form letters and e-mail notices.
And then I'm responsible for explaining / defending our lack of updates to you, my favorite people EVER. That sucks for me because I want you all to be very, very happy with Star Traders.

Suuuuuuure they look forward to doing business with you. That's why they take so friggin long reviewing and approving apps. It would definitely seem they prefer app developers who only release updates once every century.
