There are instances where the game dialogue warns against getting trapped in close quarters. But Templars thrive on Thermopylae type situations—I half wonder whether they should be called "Hoplites" sometimes. When my Templars are in wide open areas, I run like hell to get them out of there and they've never been incapable of blasting and hacking their way out of narrow corridors. Isn't this situation a bit of a mismatch?

readyready15728 - while you can do great backing into a tight corners, if you get really trapped you're going to run out of ammo. It can be comfortable crammed in there, but if you aren't achieving your mission objectives, the comfort will not pay off in the long run.

Hm. I haven't had that issue yet. Granted I run a Naval Veteran Captain now, but I make sure my guys are perfectly capable in melee as well.
