Multi-Contract Bug

I had 3 contracts for the same planet; one for the Star Dock, one for the Palace, and one for the Spice Hall. I select from my status contract list the Palaces's contract since I was behind schedule. When I got there and went down to the planet, "Spice Hall" was bolded. I went to the Palace, but he wasn't there. After I left the Palace I was told my contract expired. I went to the Star Dock and my contact wasn't there yet. He did show up later, but only after I met up with the contact at the Spice Hall.

Sometimes I'd rather deliver my package, or take care of other business when everything is still quite before hunting down and killing my contract and getting those pathetic excuses for authorities all upset.

BTW, who was the fool that made the rule that you can only take four contracts at a time? I wonder if someone has put a bounty out on him? After all, while I wouldn't mind preforming a public service, why should I have to do it for free?

I asked the same question once from the guy issuing contracts, and this is what he said:
"Look, if I were hiring you to do some contract work for me, I'd really not like it if you also had committed yourself to 12 others at the same time. I don't mind it if you have one or two other contracts on the go - we all have to keep ourselves busy after all, but I do expect you to have some level of focus. My job is, after all, the most important job that you are taking on - I'm paying you damned good credits for your work."

He was one of the Holy Executioners for Cadar and I didn't even contemplate going against his wishes.

I hear, but it's my rep which is on the line and my rep which goes down the head if I take on more than I can handle.

With all these regs it's getting so a bounty hunter can't make an honest living any more. As it is, there are already a ton of forms and fees just to get your DW in the first place.

You may be interested in the new con-man officer in an upcoming update that will have the special ability to take unlimited contracts. he does however require a big upfront bonus to hire and will break your mechanic officers heart...
