It is no secret that we were up all night trying to figure out what was causing the 1 Star Reviews.

It is devastating to see those in the Android Market as a developer, just really hits you. So we did our best (I tried everything I could) to figure out what was going on those people's phones.

There is also a new mission called "Eggsassinate" and Andrew is making a new playable character that is a grape.

Excellent! Downloading now, and I was (finally) able to get the market to accept my 5 star review.

I can't seem to copy my save game from the free version to the Elite version. Am I missing something?

Don't worry about the 1 star reviews. The game is quite fine in the early stages, I own elite as i owned in star trader 6 months ago.

The only thing i don't like are poor graphics, even for an 80's game. Really, isometric view is cool for an rpg but has to be done carefully and with a good tileset; also character movement could be improve with a little animation.

btw, great game, continue with goog job and sorry for my engrish ;-)

It is hard to see, I suppose, just how critical the reviews are to the small independent Android developer.

At this point a single 1 Star review on Elite will drop us 200 positions in the ranking. That lone review will lower our average enough that it will impact us for weeks.

Leaving a 1 Star Rating on a new Android game is brutal -- which is good, if the application deserves it. That system helps keep bad games and malware out of the lists. Someone drops a one star and boom, the game drops.

Heck, someone just left a 4 Star review and we dropped 55 spots -- that will hurt us on downloads quite a bit today and tomorrow.

Android Market gives you a certain amount of time to accumulate downloads, reviews and download milestones. If you do not hit the targets, you must either pay for advertising or you will fall in the rankings.

Perhaps I have too high of hopes for a team of so few with no budget. I'm still going to do whatever it takes -- even begging -- to get a spot on Google's charts.

The minimap for Charlesbank doesn't match the actual map. Specifically the Mars Corp Importers building is wrong.

that one might have to wait a few days. making the minimaps is time consuming and i'm still fixing map balance issues and moving stuff. Added to the list =)

no negative reviews for elite. That is the version that needs all the big reviews. You want the paid version ranked higher than the free one.
you gotta make money here and having the elite be better ranked can't be a bad thing
