Cant wait! How long before the update is on the market? Doesnt seem to have shown up yet. Oh, you just posted.. damn you confusing timezones *scrounges around in the settings to see if he can change it* *checks twitter* ah, and the 'not appearing on most devices' thing too. What on earth are google up to? It shows up if I search for cyber knights. Its installed but it does not show up under my apps on market.

they're filtering it out of all the lists because it requires some new feature called "hardware landscape" which only 8 devices support. Surprise, you don't have one of those devices!
PS: Neither do I. I am freaking out (you know me!) and well generally sad about this turn of events.

Great, now I have to start my MatrixNet map all over again. Edit: I see what you did there. So, is EACH Data Terminal a different initial access point now with a different MatrixNet map? Or, are there just a few different ones? Just trying to get an idea of how much work I have ahead of me doing the new MatrixNet maps.

The starting points shouldn't matter as long as all the paths ar the same right?

Well, I have only checked two Data Terminals so far but it looks like at least the initial jack point and the first level of connected hosts are different. For example in a Streets territory the initial jack point was Slums which had DT*T, E! Net, Slums, and New Boston Exchange as the first level connections. Then, in a Brave Star territory it started as Downtown Crossing with DT*T, GRID LINK, Downtown Crossing, and New Boston Exchange as the first level of connections. Upon, going into DT*T from either starting host, it appears to be the same map as the old DT*T. So, maybe it's several new initial jack point locations with slightly different maps for each one. I've got the one I started at in Streets territory complete and it's close to the old map. With the way the Disconnect button works (not sure if it's working correctly) it's kind of a pain since it doesn't always go back one connection level.
Edit: How ever it works out it's pretty awesome that there are now at least a couple different MatrixNet maps. Adds some good variety to the game as well as increasing the complexity.

Would it be possible to display all the computer stats (Icon, Armor, IO, etc) on the Home computer screen (where it shows your Credits and Jobs Load and such)?

those stats and the complicated sub-stats like clock speed, optical filter values, etc will be behind the button that shows your computer icon. you'll click that and all the hacker details will popup.
the matrix map has changed by expanding the jack point locations and adding some other stuff.

Well, it's been how it is now since the last time you "fixed" it. It is improved from how it worked when it was totally broken (took you out to the initial connection screen). But, it seems like it still doesn't work the way it used to (way back in something like version 0.1.25) which was that it took you back one level (like hitting your browser Back button). I didn't say anything immediately after you fixed it because I thought that it was working the way you intended. In case that's not the case, what it's doing currently is it takes you back a random number of connections; anywhere from one to several. I haven't noticed any sort of pattern.
Edit: It also does this if you get "Crashed off" of your current host. Just in case this is not what is intended.

you know (history repeating itself here) it is often the early hackers of a system who later help secure it.
so, continue your training, my young Knights. Soon, you will Corp for us =)
