Received some feedback today about Research and Trade Festivals.
It appears that late in the game, some players are using them nearly continuously, which is annoying the the current UI.
Do you think Trade and Research Festivals should "auto add" themselves back to the queue on completion?

That would be awesome! It's pretty annoying and time consuming to add them every time for every colony you have.
Only: every festival drains morale, so you must add manually spice festival to avoid going zero. Could also spice festival be auto-added?

Trying to figure out a way to make the use of them easy and not require extra clicking.

Cory Trese- how about a Repeat Upgrade button? Pressing this would just automatically repeat the last upgrade. Could even modify it to repeat last two/three/four in order. What about putting a shortcut to the upgrade screen from the turn notification screen? That could alleviate a few presses on its own.

There comes a point in development where your planets will be idle. Currently I do not mind having to select the trade and spice festivals over and over again, as it allows some flexibility in case things change up. However in the late game I can see where having these arbitrarily repeat would be nice to have, however not that important.
A button on the turn change screen to repeat a festival or upgrade (such as mines or hab units) might be the way to handle it for ease of use.

I rather liked the Sid Meier's Alien Frontiers 'put these colonies on automatic' function. Perhaps this belongs as part of something like that? My problem, still, is surviving to such a point, though, so what do I know?

Speaking of research and trade festivals, how many points do they give? Research festival costs 1000, so I'm assuming alot?

I actually have no idea, as by thetime I would complete the research on it, it would prove to be near useless. I might check it out on a small map just to see. The trade festival essentially maxes out the credits per TP value of the colony itself, and it seems, any nearby colonies also benefit from it also. grävlingThat is something I personally would not use, I never did in Master of Orion, as the AI proves to be inefficient in most cases. (At least to me) Also, even though itis programmed and therefore should be logical, many automatic player AI control schemes seem to make what are illogical decisions, as they will do things in a straightforward fashion, which is not always the best or most logical course of action to take.
