Is there a particular reason the bad guys always start combat in roughly a diagonal line formation?

There are different formations based on how many spaces the system could find.
I'm working to improve this system to provide more dramatic and varied combats.

@dilz - horizontal line is the easiest and seems most common. my sniper got jumped in an "ambush" last night in a tight alley and had 7 thugs all within 3-4 squares last night in a circle. Mean!

My favorite combat initiation is when you get the whole "three people are approaching you quickly..." and then you confront them and there's like 7 people there. |

moof - the other 4 slip out of alleys or the nearby crowd. The three distracted you. You were on crammers and you can't count worth crap. Any of those stories should help fill in your gaps =)

Also, if you're on drugs in the game, and you get checked out by the "patrol" is that how you get caught? cuz i always submit and like a baws... MOVE ALONG BEEP BEEP BEEP! |
