Steam max zoom in. Necromancer - Artwork is perfect, evil looking angry, great clothes and the tattoo on the head. I'm not sure what that crescent thing in his right hand is? First one encountered he was perfectly protected. Skeleton & wolves in front 1 hex. Trees and water on the right. Wall left and back. Oh well so much for Selen circling around for the flank attack. Ghouls - Are you kidding me? These things are so fast and come in six to 12 cans of nasty. Caught out in the open is a real challenge for the magic users. Ghoul Lord - All right who got cranky with another sleepless night and dreamed this awful thing up! Regenerate +420 HP every couple of rounds that you don't kill him? Ouch that hurts. Specter - The attack animation is great. I can visualize these ethereal arms with horrible claws trying to pass through your body. Kyera - Mushroom cloud consuming all things evil. Great job thanks especially for providing the option tho use Kyera as a caster.

John Robinson - glad you're loving it, and yes some of the monsters are definitely evil I had an absolute blast feeling like Kyera really came into her own, dealing out so much holy damage it was great.

Shucks, got my first death in the CoD in the Tower of Horror. At this point Selen takes almost no damage from melee because nobody can hit her. So, on the first turn I cast Ethereal Anguish on as many archers as I could and marched her and Vraes up to them so that they wouldn't shoot at Vincent. Unfortunately the first Seer Lord strolled up to her and landed three hits for around 300 damage each which was more than she could take. I guess he was serious about that queen stuff. On the retry I switched her and Vraes position. The Seer Lord still did his worst, but chunky old Vraes could handle it. The next turn Hrecky got a dose of Ethereal Anguish and the next turn he was dead. Of course I don't know why I ever listen to the programmed advice "we've got to kill him quick or the other one will rise." Which really means, "as soon as we kill him the other one will rise with more minions." I should have killed more minions first, though with a nuclear Vincent, channelling Odin himself it doesn't matter much. So, the moral of the story is that suddenly putting a melee fighter in with high accuracy and high damage brought me down. Congratulations Cory Trese
