For my part, I'm going with Combo-Pack at the moment. I think too much has been made of the special place of the Seer Lords to not have one show up in the story somehow. The fascination of the Seer Lords with memorializing the dead and their desire to find some way to escape the carnage that was raging around them could easily push a Seer Lord to seek out ways to overcome death and thus become corrupted. It seems though like the city is important enough that it needs to be tied in with the main plot. We haven't seen anything of Ravenna (which is a wonderful city to visit if you like history) yet.
