1. One of my contacts hates Richart but is allied to Syndicate Rychart High Prince Kaegan Thomas, so I ended doing missions for her that benefited Richart. For me, that made the character less believable. [Answered. See below.]
2. You can buy an item on a planet then immediately sell it for more money on the same planet. So just buy everything, sell everything, then go to another planet and do the same. Small profits? Sure, but they do pile up pretty fast! [Fixed in next release.]
3. If you're attacked by a pirate, or even by a friggin' Xeno, and you win, you're still told that taking their cargo is a crime and will lower your reputation.
4. I chose House Moklumnue because they're supposed to be everywhere, but they're hardly anywhere at all. I could cross seven quadrants without seeing even one planet with their flag. They only seem to be in a couple quadrants, and even there they aren't so numerous. So maybe they're in greater number in quadrants I haven't discovered, but my Captain is currently level 30, so it isn't as if it's been a short game. Why does it matter? Well, for a Merchant, that kind of bad luck makes the whole game a lot more difficult. It isn't like a bad roll in a fight, even one that costs you a crew member. [Solution suggested + Something in the work. See answer below.]
5. Rash Courage is four green dots but cannot be used in slot 1. So do the four green dots mean that a talent affects all the slots, not that it can be used from any slot? But in that case, how do I know in which slot the crew member must be? [Fixed in next release.]
6. The music sometimes restarts after an encounter, and sometimes not. At first I wondered what the change meant, if something had happened in game, but it doesn't look like it. ["We're trying to track down that bug and fix it."]
7. The dialogue bubbles from the crew disappear too fast.
8. Ships attack me only to flee in the very first round. ["This is just part of the game."] (I still think it's weird.)
9. Bounty Hunters have "20% chance to gain permanent +1 Intimidate Skill Bonus when leveling (max 12)" as a trait because "they can be pretty scary people." But then, shouldn't they have Intimidation rather than Navigation as a skill?
10. When you create a template, you can have, for instance, "110% Contact Influence"; but it's only the contacts' starting influence, correct? When I began playing, I thought it was a recurrent bonus (as in, 10% additional Contact Influence being gained each time Contact Influence is being gained). If I'm right about being wrong at the time, it should be made clearer by adding "starting" (e.g., "110% starting Contact Influence). ["Starting" added in next release.]
11. Spies' primary Skill is Stealth, yet they gain more points in Electronics (16 points for Electronics to 12 for Stealth, over 29 levels). [Will be fixed in the next Wiki update: Stealth will receive more points; Electronics, fewer.]
