BlastGT1, I finally read your post in full, and agree with everything you said about TB and the game. It's funny that you said that you joined the forum AFTER you purchased the game from the market. I've seen a handful of people who came into the forum with a cracked copy, and they got given fantastic support for the game questions they had. Any issues that caused the game to crash/hiccup had the expected answer "to fix these problems, buy the game", but I think it was the fact that everyone got to get access to the wisdom of the TB's, even if the user wasn't using a legit copy, that makes TB's even more amazing. I'm a member of several forums, and even though this isn't the place for this,I shall say only one thing.I do not endorse piracy.it hurts developers and ultimately hurts gamers.stop being a tight ass and raid your piggy bank.1.99 is nothing.

I figure anyone who's pirating our games must have a reason for doing so and I don't question that.
I would prefer that people play the free version instead of a cracked Elite version -- so many sites on the web distribute APK that have been contaminated with malware or are just badly broken.
We do a little bit to keep the legitimate copies legitimate and pirated versions don't always work correctly.
You can, however, trust that the free versions of all Trese Brothers games are ad free, free of consumable in app purchases, updated regularly and secure when downloaded from a real app store.
I don't think any of our free versions are really crippled, they have 50% of the game or more in most cases and are very playable IMO.

@treavisb, I hear what you're saying and definitely agree with you. I hope you weren't reading that I was condoning piracy, but rather, pointing out that Cory and Andrew are so helpful that they are prepared to assist those who weren't legit. More often than not, the person getting the support promptly uninstalled the pirated version and purchased the legit version.

I know..I personally just think its sh.tty to steal someones game and then ask in their forum for help.if I sound self righteous,I don't mean it that way.Cory and Andrew are nice guys.their games have entertained me on lots of boring commutes.compared to most of the utter crap in the play store,I think 1.99 or 2.99 is cheap for an infinite amount of fun.

Perhaps time to return to the topic: How did you find Trese Brothers? This is invaluable information for us to have! Please respond to our poll.

OK here goes and don't be upset with me,but I had a game called cyberlords:arcology by handygames.that game was OK but cyber knights is much better.that's what led me to cyber knights I think.that and I had bought star traders,so it showed me similar games.

I like Handy Games and the artwork in CyberLords is pretty darn good. I just felt that it was too easy and I played through it on the highest difficulty really fast. Too short for me I guess and I felt that it ended kinda abruptly. Good gameplay tho, especially on a tablet.

Well I was playing a game about Pirates that was a free game and it was fun but kind of limited. I searched for turn based games on Android Market and came across ST so I dl it and played it for a while, completely enjoying it so when Elite came out it didn't take me long to get that. It's been an awesome time ever since !! I still play it even 2 years after getting it. There have been long periods where I haven't played it but I always keep the game updated and read about the new changes. I tend to follow ST more on FB than the forums here now.
I have both CK & TA in Elite too. I helped with the beta testing for CK and had a blast doing that and felt I was helpful. But I couldn't really keep up with where & how far everyone else was going so it just kind of got sit a side after a while. My Big Claim To Fame is having a bar named after me in CK, Nemo's Bar. Got Elite and played that for a while but went back to ST again until TA came out played it too but I seem to keep going back to ST Lol.

Searched "RPG" in Amazon app store, dled a bunch of games that "had potential," ended up buying three Trese Bros games and deleting the rest!

looking for turn based rpg on playstore first i found the space marines clone game wasnt very impressed second i try out STrpg and i enjoy it a lot its like a hybrid of pirates and elite from the old C64 days but with turn based combat a wonderfull combination the thing im hoping to see in future is some fleet combat turn based combat and i stong suggest use a hex battlefield not a square one for a spacecraft combat that give better fire angles ages ago there was a perry rhodan space battle boardgame that had rules that would be perfect to copy im afraid the game exist only in german and its impossible to buy it anywhere else than from hardcore perry rhodan fans who gathered all the stuff www.perrypedia.proc.org/wiki/Perry_Rhodan-Simulation#Das_RaumkampfsystemSent from my GT-P6800 using proboards
