Zer0Winds Good luck in battling whatever issues you've come across. I know what it's like when life hands you some terrible cards. Sometimes, Steel Song factories recycle those cards and turn them into very practical cardboard plating for your ship hull. We'll hopefully see you again - until then, keep playing STF (and other TB games), and contemplate life outside of Steel Song ...

poryg in that case, use whatever free time you have to create small apps and utilities. Ideally, identify some specific gap or pain point in the market (or in your day to day electronic life), and see if you can't develop something that plugs the gap. The first iteration(s) may be absolutely crap, but refine and refine and enhance. This will do a number of things: 1) Get you far more skilled at programming Than any course can get yOu - you will leaRn by doing, and find out what works and what doesn't work (Probably). 2) You'll also be researching best-practice so you will understand and become more efficient 3) You might even get a bit of money if you put your app in the marketplace and fill a gap that others are experiencing 4) Prospective employers can see that you have tangible evidence of your coding ability - that's more real than any paper qualification 5) Leave you wide open for a Torp that I fired at point 1 stealthily hidden in the text ...

Captain Solo also had problems with the hyperdrive, but in one case it was just a failure of the Hyperdrive Motivator. The second time though, the Empire had sabotaged the Falcon. R2 fixed it though. I'm picking that ATD2 (Andrew Trese Dev 2) is running some diagnostics already.

DireVenom that's fantastic work so far. Because of copyright issues, the work you are doing, unsanctioned it must be. Watching with interest the Trese Bros will no doubt be. Your work, much Karma will it offer, but beware the Disney. Disney is the path to the Dark Side. Disney leads to Lawyers. Lawyers lead to law suits. Law suits lead to suffering. Good luck in your efforts. In this case, a try there can be. Yes, hrrmmm.

Yeah but that's the traditional Cadar greeting to most people Oh oh it's official, I've gone past -50k rep with Steel Song ... it's a proud day for the cat. of course, I'm now considering seeing if I can get to -100k ...

Yeah well err actually I haven't hit the -50k yet. I'm actually on -49,593. It's been on my to-do list this year but like all things, procrastination and STUPID faction alliances with Steel Song thwarted my plans. I have pretty good rep with all factions (except Thulun with a measly -1,770 Rep. I want to get them back into positive too, so I can't just indiscriminately kill all Song-flagged ships. Oooooooooh it's so tempting though. No - I show restraint - I show good judgement.

It's not that we always go to this particular spice hall - but most of us captains go to ALL the spice halls we can go to. If we only went to this one all the time, I don't think we'd get very far, as most spice halls give us very useful rumors, a smattering of replacement crew, some watered down Vudka and Spice of dubious quality.
In terms of bans - the Spice Halls are the only place we can get into when we have -50,000 reputation with a particular faction.

I don't have a large hatred of Steel Song. It's iddy biddy little hatred. I just wear it on my shoulder like all good cats do. You ever see a cat hiding its emotion? It's angry - it swipes at you. It's feeling neglected. It swipes at you. It's feeling frustrated. It swipes at you. It's feeling jealous. It swipes at you. It's feeling an overwhelming urge to destroy all remnants of a corrupt and inbred clan who's lineage includes at least five generations of Ratkin, two Hund-offspring, and goes by the name Steel Song. It swipes at you, presses multiple red buttons, and watches a volley of HK Torps take out the nearest dozen Steel Song ships. Oh ... It's feeling happy. It playfully swipes at you.

I left - but I'm back. You're right - does that mean you're now front?
Hmm ... if you're front and I'm back, then I'm the ass-end of a clone army.

Woaaaaaaaah - zombie post resurrection It's a fine line between being arrested - and being executed. Actually not so much a fine line, but rather, a substantively different result. The problem is that your RP BEFORE surrendering might be different, depending on if you're carrying contraband, or if you shot first before surrendering, or if you had a dangerous Xenomorph that you were trying to smuggle back to the Company R&D labs for study ... and if your RP slips below that magical teen number, you get executed on the spot rather than arrested.

Oh and obviously kidding about who Kurt Cobain is ... he was clearly a trainer for youth deep sea salvage.
