Officer Genious People often tend to think that Yakuza are poorly located in the NBZ, but in fact they are controlling important key spots ; the eastern passageway between gangland and corpoland also giving access to the eastern Narrows through one AzTek sector, and an access to corpoland from gangland at the west that is easy to access when you come down from the western Narrows. Plus, both have thopter access nearby ; if they do not control a big and important territory, they at least secured the right sectors to be one of the most practical faction to work for. Take your jobs at one side, plan your travel to the other, and eventually arrive in friendly territory where you can rest and take new jobs to do on your way back to the other side. I have two characters and both of them are friends with the Yakuza ; how strange.

We need more people with social CK skills in here; Bohrson and I are tired of dealing with these violent brutes. Why murder when you can extort?? Oh, that's so Kazuo Ichin of you.

dianne Welcome in the community ! Face playthoughs are tough ; you should ask advice to Officer Genious, she knows her ways with Silvertongues. Sorry, but there is no award system in CK. I think it should on CyberKnights II wishlist though.

Thank you for your additional information ! If the update didn't do the trick, then this is definitely a bug ; this thread should be moved to Bug Reports (CK) by the way, fallen will take care of it. Thanks for your report !

Hi ! Re-hiring runners is a whole part of CyberKnight's game mechanics (developing a runner's skills, converting him into an ally to make him permanent in your team until death, etc.), so technically you should be able to re-hire them as much as you want, even in Free Version. It seems to be a bug here ; can you please tell us what phone, OS version and game version you are currently using ? This could help fallen to track your problem.

I know this might sound weird but is House Thulun somehow related to Scotland ? See House Thulun flag and the old Scottish Royalty Flag (obviously not in use anymore). Ever since I started to play, I have been wondering about it, sorry.

Bohrson - thanks to you. We would not be able to do this without the energy that our fans give us. You're welcome fallen. To launch the whole "tell your story" thing, I'll start with this : I really, really love observation jobs. When they came out, I restarted to play with my old MnB Gunslinger Joshua, and investigating with a gunslinger character brings all the old good neo-noir cyberpunk atmosphere to me. It's like I'm playing Bladerunner or something of the same kind and it really feels great. Every time an observation works, I feel suspense as I know what I was observing could be anything ; sometimes, it just bores me as it is the sixth times in a row I watch blokes knocking at a door (with time, it just become funny how your knight could write a book about secret knocking in the NBZ), but sometimes like that happens : Josh took two observation jobs from Agent Pherrell, in a BraveStar backroom. The most urgent one was in the AzTek Commerce Center, in North End. It was group of people negotiating on the price of heavy, illegal weaponry. Kinda intriguing. The next step of this investigation was in the AzTek entrance of the BlueOx smuggling tunnels but first, I had another observation to do in Old Bridge, at the Knight Horizon HQ. And went there, staked out and waited. Then some enforcers came out with some king of heavy prototype weapon, which they put in a smuggling crate. Not that surprising, knowing KH, so I went to look after that AzTek business. And then, at the entrance of the smuggling tunnel, I saw people with a smuggling crate and a heavy, prototype weapon. It just blew my mind. I realized that agent Pherrell was investigating on Knight Horizon smuggling heavy, illegal weapon prototypes to BlueOx through AzTek's territory. Incredible. Magic. That's the kind of things I love in this game.

Hi everyone, I open this thread because ever since I started to come here on a daily basis, I have been amazed by the TBs and this community. You really are amazing people, and I just feel like saying it right now. Seeing so much people invested in a game, giving feedback to it, testing it day after day, looking for issues or just reporting it as they came across it, just warms my heart. I know how this may sound, but I am a pen and paper RPG creator and I know how important these things are. So, I'd like to thank you all, devs and players, for making this forums and these games so alive. Now that I've said it, I though that we could open a thread in this forum just to thank the TBs for their work and to tell them something about what we especially like in CK. Anecdotes, events we like, mini-stories we make up as we play because the game just inspire us (but that would not be worth making a whole FanFic about it) - anything. It just feels to me like the day V2.0.0 comes out is a good day to start something like this.

fallen As you may know, I have been wanting to play non-fighting characters (faces and hackers) for a while, ans this update will definitely make it even more interesting. Here's the graphic that came with that thread : startradersrpg.proboards.com/attachment/download/54There was another map, somewhere here. A .svg file, that opened itself with web browsers. I have no idea where it is on the forums right now but I can re-upload it if you want ; I kept it safe in my memory chip.

Here's how I see this : - First, choose your character (Face+Sprite ; if possible, there could be new ones, as there are often new ship designs for ST).
- Second, set your profession, choosing among any.
- Then choose between the 4 kinds of weapon to set up to 3 to you new CK (with limitation depending on your profession ; a Cybersword is definitely not going to wield pistols and rifles only, for example), each one costing a certain XP amount (that could increase the more weapon types you can use).
- Then set your starting statistics, using what remains of your XP amount (so, the lesser weapons your CK has learned to use, the best he is at it).
- Optional : Set Clive Zep's profession. In case you prefer having him on the front line with you if you play a Cybersword or having him shooting from a distance alongside you, after all.
- Optional : Set starting money.
- Optional : Friendly faction. You start with enough rep to get into one faction's backrooms right from the beginning, but you have a starting rep malus with other factions or it also cost you some XP, why not.
I can't find any other ideas right now, but I totally approve Jacob's idea of a Knight designer IAP.
