I didn't note his name. It was a Cadar son referring to his father, if that helps. Hmmm, both options are

Yep, a bad label. We'll keep working to improve.

Strange report. After the defeat of the radiation 0 planet, all xeno ground forces stop resisting for the rest of the game?

There are unique story rewards for ship components in the game already through multiple storylines. In all cases, these rewards enable a certain faction to produce and install a component type forever. Through the story, you've helped enable the execution of new tech in the starport.

I did tweak the balance of the two fights -- ground and ship -- to make ship more valuable by 2-4X.

Ok, figured this out -- you only get the bonus for fighting a Jyeeta ship in space combat at the time you click "Destroy" to nuke their ship completely. If you do not do this, you don't get the bonus. You really should, its where the money and real gain is at for hunting xeno.

Having a hospital ship can help you be more effective but it is absolutely not required.
Heck, just build a nice pirating skiff. Profit!

Yep, you get bonus points for killing them in the ground or in the void. Seems like there must be some bug in the code for ships, as this is already setup and tested to work on random Jyeeta ships outside of missions and has a larger bonus than ground fighting, just as you suggested.
Will investigate!

Thanks, fixed the typos.
I am checking that conditional text. It is setup to work regardless of order. There are many different variations coded there. Any idea exactly who you were talking to? Kober or Haest?

That almost worked... except I had to switch to Proton and use the Windows version. Which made me lose unlocks :-( Better than nothing I guess. I'll take it. Thanks for the help! Sorry to hear it didn't work for you. Out of a pile of Linux users we've spoken to over the last few days, this resolved the issue 100%. If you're using Steam on Windows, just open Unlocks from the main menu. Unlocks restored!

If you need to exit from combat, finish a turn and then exit the game. Auto-save handles it. If your device turns off, auto-save handles it. If you quit mid-turn, auto-save handles it.

In many cases, there isn't a clear "better" in ship hulls -- only which you prefer for your build.
