Thanks guys just started heading down there today I hope you don't have any plans for the next few days. IMHO it's the best bit of the game so far, you won't be able to put it down.

I also have one of those;but burst fire is completely wasted on physical Agent Exes. It's workable, but doesn't use the full potential of the class... Hence, this thread. Good point. I've hardly played since the new class skills were added, its been all HoS for me. It would be good to have a melee combat special skill for the Agent-Ex. I'm sure there's another thread that covers suggestions for that.

I know it's an old thread, but the ideas in it are cool. I like gravis' idea quite a lot. I like gravis' idea too. The lack of input from TB on this thread suggests one of two things: 1) They don't like the idea, this seems unlikely as they normally let us know why; 2) They have a nasty surprise waiting for us. Assuming the latter to be true, I would ask all forum members to make a pledge not to announce when they discover it, so as not to ruin the surprise for the rest of us.

It's a tough one -- you can build her an undead nuke bomb and decimate in two zones of the game, but she's much weaker as a result in the UF and Glacier maps. Glacier! What glacier? Has the rest of episode 2 been released and I've been too wrapped up in my new party to notice?

In the game, there have been many characters who focus on using guns; in fact, most of the characters in Cyber Knight Elite use guns or rifles or cannons rather than physical weapons. The only (playable - I'm not including the troggers here) physical class is the Cybersword, which is why I'm making this request: Would the devs, please, please consider implementing another playable physical class? I've got a great melee based Agent-Ex. Lots of AP and high movement range. Move in hit and move out of range again before they know what hit them.

bullgod There are also in various supermarket here, in France, too, so I think your side of the Channel must work just the same. A quick google search says Tesco and Morrisons sell them and I'd swear I've seen them in my local ASDA

It happened again in Oskahold. Exiting the shop and re-entering to look at different ranges eventually solves it again temporarily. I'm afraid I can't discern any consistent pattern.
Don't you just hate intermittent faults?

It gets stranger. I returned to Oskahold (to stock up on potions) and decided to check out the smith there to double check the compare facility there and it wasn't working either, both for mêlée weapons and bows. I then looked at the armour selection and it did work there. I looked again mêlée weapons and the compare facility had reappeared, so I went back to Nordhall and it had started working there too! The problem seems to have rectified itself.

I've recently started a new party and have just got to Nordhall. When I go into the fletcher's to look at the bows, I don't have the facility to choose one character to compare my equipped bow with the ones on sale. I do have this facility in the shops in Oskahold and elsewhere in the game with my first party. Not a problem really, but I know you guys are perfectionists. I am running v2.1.45.

My personal favourite, I can't remember where it happened, but it was fairly early on, was finishing of the last of the enemies with Vraes on fairly low HP, sending him to look in a chest without healing him first and stumbling into not one but two spike traps (ouch!).

I find Vraes tends to level up last. I presume it's because I tend to get him to tenderise the target then one of the others gets the kill shot. Kyera often takes out the bosses as I keep her waiting till last then decide whether to heal or finish someone off.

@drdave - do you mean "attack oriented" as in, you advanced into the Orcin horde? No, I concentrated on maxing out Crushing Blow, Aimed Shot & Firebolt before developing buffs/curses and rarely used buffs (apart from Stoneskin) until the latter stages. Perhaps "offence orientated" would have been a better term. Part of the reason for this tactic was a lack of understanding of the combat mechanics. I was reading the accuracy bonuses as being a + onto a die roll like in 1980's D&D rules (yes, I am that old). So I was more taken by the idea maxing out damage. Just starting a new game with the original characters and going to try completely different builds. Waiting for Kincaid to be released then I'll buy all 4 new characters and try a play through with just them.

@drdave - hopefully Kyera is at least raining down Ethereal Anguish? What Episode? If you haven't reached E2, I suggest that Tamilin and Kjartan take a graduate degree in hiding next. I'm playing on normal, so I've completed E2 Pt1. I've taken a more attack orientated path. She uses Holy Retribution if she has any spare time.
