Sounds good for something like Cyberknights. A way to disappear from the system and reset heat, or a mission for desperate Contacts who need to go underground.

I meant add the word soak in there, if there is space

Maybe Armor adding components should add "+X% Armor soak" to help avoid confusion?

Weapons have their own initiative values that are hidden at the moment IIRC. Boosting ship Initiative means your guns are more likely to fire off before your opponent, so you have a chance of crippling them before they attack

I vote we focus on Advanced Fleet Operations, as well trained and varied crews with varied skillsets can be a very effective way to boost the utility of our warships.
I also would like to remind the Javat and Moklemune representatives that overextension into Sidtax territory without a secure flank would leave our new holdings in the Shimmering Belt vulnerable to Nyktos incursions. It would also mean that logistics are harder, as the new colonies would be unable to build much aside from fighter class vessels in any reliable amount of time. Allow the new colonies to develop industrially and logistics will be much simpler later on.

I saw that we must secure our flank, so the Ascension cluster must be secured.
Older ships should be retired and sold to Star Trader Captains, and infrastructure should be prioritized, especially in the new colonies.
We must have a powerful enough economy to support the navy.

It would likely be a new Talent, and we keep looking at this to decide if we should go for it. If we do, it would have to be for more than just Health. Then you'd have a lot of Talents ... and maybe it should be the same Talent. Maybe a Combat Medic talent? I imagine a Ship's Doctor would have more experience treating radiation burns, broken bones, fuel sickness and heavy metal poisoning that are common among ship crew, while a Combat Medic would have more experience treating bullet wounds, bio-poison and lacerations.

The fuel cost I follow, as slowing down in space is expensive. The time though may be a little much, sure. I always figured that landing involved holding orbit and waiting until you had a clear berth approved for your ship in the Starport.

Reclaiming better reactor technology will be key for fielding the best possible ships. I say that colonial infrastructure should be focused on while the new ship technology is researched.
We will need credits to support a fleet using Superscale weapons, and as such more orbital mines, upgrades to existing infrastructure in addition to the phasing out and replacing of old ships should be our priority.

I guess it's more cost effective than burnign it out with torps

People board ships and leave them intact?
That's like half the fun of boarding.

Should be "one of the e-techs from the Orion" or "one of the Orion's e-techs"

The Xeno grow in strength, and as much as Fleet Command would like to revive the old warfare doctrines, we recognize the need to focus on weaponry first. Superscale and Advanced Weapons should be researched first. Perhaps, if there is time, the Ranger Prow could also be researched, as it would help ensure that our torpedoes strike true.

Gentlemen! Let us not torpedo one another, and focus our hostility on the Xeno abominations that infest our new home.

Using the default map, Cadar Faction loyalty. I have a Cadar Military Commander who spawned in the Indie Mining Zone of Drewick Prime, in the Garrick Void Quadrant.
