Totally true. You need Crippling Shot, too.

Ooohhh, that makes so much sense. I always wondered about that one...

I'm going for that new berk grenadier artifact...
And while we are speaking of berserks, was it intended to completely change the adept-proc? It has lost its crown as the most uber chocolate-covered butterscotch 1-point upgrade ever, and is now just chocolate.

Nope, not on steam. I can send a screenshot of my soldier standing in front of the console if you like, but it's not too illuminating.

This is on v2.4.17. The stratos elevator mission, the 1st floor panel does not work. The panels on floors 2 and 3 give expected messages that the 1st and 2nd switched have been thrown, but there is no response for floor 1. The mech does turn to face the panel clicked, so it does register I some level. But there is no other response. It is possible that I've flipped this switch previously for what that's worth.
Second, berserk grenades do not give an area effect like captain or soldier grenades. If you miss the first target, others are not rolled.

I'll note that it gets more interesting with berserks. With the new infinite counterattack talents, a berk gets a swing every time an attack misses... But only occasionally if it hits. So evasion (and autoblock) is where it's at.
Go ahead, take a swipe!

I'll get over it, and it will give a chance to try other talents.
I think the problem is that the Medic talent is a little too strong and limiting with the single target and 1 range. It's very rare that you need more than 100 healing at once... it'll take some rethinking on the paladin, building without Medic skill at all allows buffer builds using Warding Fire or Inspiration. Thus far, those have been just not so effective compared to the all-powerful Battlefield Enhancers. (So yes, overpowered)
(added) Just so you guys know, your instincts are just about always excellent - even if you hear a little whining, I'm all in favor of a good nerfing. Umm, just don't touch Shredding Fire 8-10 yet, I just discovered how awesome that is with Roar's Talon!)

I hope there is a way to back off the nerf just a bit. At max effect, going from healing 200 to just 56 is pretty drastic. I agree that this was the best talent in the game, and the best reason to bring a paladin along. I'm going to have a hard time updating the app...

After having Tybae take us to the Otherworldly Haven, I went over to finish Wyatt's quest - and it seemed to get tangled up with a script for having Tevensa bring us over there.
To reproduce: 1. After Ember, went over to Tybae at the Storm Bastion to get a ride up to the Haven. I didn't do Vurnak this time, haven't met the druid, so I didn't have any option for here - just Tybae and the Braes woman. 2. Completed OWH, with unpleasant side effects. 3. Went over to Granthorn and up to the Sedollan foothills. Since T is such a menace, we decided to take her out. As we walked up to smack her (after the battle had already started), there was a dialog about Tevensa being angry and wanting revenge for something, which seemed out of place. Then after the battle, I'm hitting a Volpa ambush, which also said something about Tevensa wanting revenge.
version is 4.2.31, samsung gs4, lollipop I think.

Are you able to make an attack AOE only during the surprise round? A low power punishing blades, maybe with -acc, that's aoe during surprise. That would be a fun version of this talent. The thing about Steel and Shadow is that it is a Stealth Surprise Talent. So, that nature of it is not going to go away. Much like the improvement to Tamilin's stealth surprise Talent, we're interested in making it useful even when you aren't in a Surprise Round. Tamilin's now includes a great -Armor curse for every day use. But, both Talents are always going to have a larger part of their balance dedicated to working in the Stealth Round.

Wow, these are all great updates! Love that high AP attacks get a little love here, since it's been really hard to justify a two handed attack from a minmax standpoint. I'm okay with a little nerd to ToS.
I am ambivalent about the Vraes change, as I don't do leader boards. Not that I'd ever make him carry a dagger anyways, though!

That one's gotten me before. That's a hard level, and on big maps like that I've learned not to get too curious...

Hey, it's Sunday, you don't have to work!!
Umm, how did I get the Swap button is a good question. I started up the level, touched a templar or two, thought "Hey, maybe I have enough points to get my buddy Cashew the Paladin in here!" (the group, I admit, is nuts) and that's when it crashed. I tried a couple more times and reproduced it. I believe that once I read through all of the dialog, once I skipped through it. I usually cycle through the group by using the NEXT arrow, so that may be how I selected Nyla. And that's all I know. Brutal difficulty, in case that has any bearing on the situation.
