From wheel road sw, there is a staircase that goes down to the haunted crypt, and then the up takes you over to wheel road sE, where you first saw the light of day. The two areas look somewhat similar, and I think someone got confused while making it - there is also some weird dialogue about "who was that guy", when you had already camped out with nikolai on wheel road w....

Cory, let me get a clarification here.
I just played through the Talia scene - and by the way, love the new dialogue if you go there after the cult - and there was a spot where farsight flashed blue. I walked to a spot about 2 times away from where I had *clicked* to center the farsight area, and an encounter started. I use this talent a lot, and I often see this.
Is that expected operation?

Ahh, I see. No, what I found is that the damage range of the last 3ap bow I found in RF is about 1.5x the 2ap bows at the same place. Sorry I don't have all the weapon names on hand, but that means, for this archer without big damage bonuses, that the big bows were finally worth trying out.
And I'm finally getting crits near 200 now...

There is a 3ap bow available in riven field (deux) which has about the same damage per turn as the 2ap bows. For selen, with pinning shot 4-5, which has no damage bonus and a high sp cost, it's become pretty useful. She'll have everyone cursed in just a couple of shots, and then it's just damage. The range occasionally comes in handy too.

So far I haven't needed it. Even the kyera group relies on incantations for the most part, to save ap. And I've got one kyera and one fyona group finished with all content...

2.1.49 Android bug.
I often change into +SP items for camping, cast all of the group's buffs, and then change back to the fighting items. Changing out items has recently caused all talent buffs to de-register - meaning that they display in the "Effects" screen, but the actual effects (+parry/dodge/crit%/HP, etc) all vanish. Exiting the game and coming back in will re-apply the buffs, but if you had cast Stoneskin, healed, and then changed items, you lose all additional HP as the buff disappears.
This can be worked around, but changing items in a fight - for instance Selen dual wielding - does the same thing. Not good if your defense goes down when the enemies are about to attack...
This is all new and the bug didn't exist in 2.1.45, maybe not .47 either.

Cool! I'll save that bow for later. I've decided it's a good way to minimize selen's ap burn with pinning shot.

3ap is working, but I'm really disappointed about not having that extra space! Do any of the 7 range bows work properly yet?

I've seen something like this too. Seemed related to Pinning Shot, but it was usually in concert with Flash Freeze. The forged spiders were getting 2-3 attacks with pinning shot and FF both showing as active. In all cases if I exited out to the main menu and came back in, the monsters went back to the proper number of attacks.
(Samsung S4, kit kat, .41 or earlier was when I saw it)

Arrows and lightning did the trick.
Still can't post the pic, though. Something about the forum using up its attachment space. Anyways, glad you were able to find it with my poor description!
