I remember talking with a friend of mine who builds some of the craziest stuff you hope not to be on the receiving end of (an electrified sword that is already on fire, arrows that have a battery down the shaft, etc.) We talked about an idea I had about having a ballistics calculator rigged up with an eyepiece to make it really easy to hit. The thought hit me, that is the gun link implant (almost).

Well I know they will drink some either way but it would probably be less if they are not worried about radiation.

I am quoting the documentation for star traders for this one. "For centuries, spacers from all Quadrants have always strongly believed the tradition that drinking Water-Fuel is the only sure way to protect themselves from radiation, space sickness, inertia madness, and other grim hazards of the void. While the medical and scientific grounds for this might be doubted, the firm belief in the tradition amongst spacers is unshakeable. There is no surer way to break the Morale of a space Crew than to withdraw their daily rations of Water-Fuel."
Maybe have an upgrade that makes you immune to radiation storms and reduces crew usage of water fuel. After all if they are not worried about radiation then they would drink less water fuel. If there is a flaw in my logic go ahead and tell me, I am sleep deprived after finally getting a character that doesn't die all the time. (trying to unlock things by playing on insane)

Actually I am curious about this, do they notify you to tell you that it is going to be free for a day or do you plan it out with them?

I swear, there needs to be an encounter where a slayernz cruiser is found wrecked with 27 steel song ships around it. Maybe a thing for st2?

I bought high end hardened nano ready armor before a fight in corp land, I forgot to put it on so the nano ready med kit didn't save me. Lost my knight unfortunately.

We all have been there, I had the red ring of death happen to me about 5 times already. Even losing my fully leveled characters in borderlands was nothing compared to losing the name of the world of warcraft account I had my fully leveled hunter on.

Self recharging nano batteries? Where were they mentioned?

Just had a really ridiculous idea. What if there was a gun that used magnetic forces to both propel the metal projectiles and heat them to molten temperatures. Really low range weapon with no penetration but good damage and speed. Uses heavy ammo to generate the electricity to run it.

I was thinking more like firing a small capsule which has a rechargeable battery. The capsule sticks to the target and discharges the electricity. The bullets being used to propel the projectile all the distance.

With the advanced technology in ck it would be feasible to have a long range shock weapon, the projectile being wireless by having a ridiculous battery rigging up to it.

If we are going to be talking about this I may as well give an idea. Maybe have certain stories only playable after other stories have been completed, or better yet have the additional stories given to you based on the endings you got in made not born.
