If you aim at keeping all character levels close together, Kyera needs some measure to reliably deal damage. Going for Retribution seems the easier way to do that. With Kjartan and Choking Ash she will be able to deal good melee damage as long as she hits, so EA will be the way to go then. But isn't it only certain boss mobs that give you extra individual XPs when they die? And you can simply control who kills them, no?

That is the screen that comes up when you press the info button when you have the talent highlighted. It is an old screenshot so it may look different now. Koda or Braeys are pretty much the same, no loot difference or exp difference. Slight story variation and probably some consequences (that we are not yet aware of). 28 is a fine level to be done with episode 2. Keep in mind that once you choose a side more than CoD opens up. I would go to the CoD entrance, get some gear upgrades, then backtrack to Granthorn and investigate some stuff there. There is also Bone Pass to worry about, how to traverse the ice?
It is relatively easy to keep exp equal (and the way to get maximum exp), bosses give huge bonuses but some more common monsters do as well. Killing blows on Orcin Warlords or Krete Cheiftains get the killer twice as much exp as everyone else (so if the mob gives 22 exp to everyone the person killing it receives 22 immediately upon the kill, in addition to the 22 that you get when you end the round). This adds up very fast and you can catch someone up pretty quickly as long as you know what mobs to kill with them.

As for levels, so I am done with Episode 2 then? I thought City of the Undead was still part of Episode 2? Now I am really worried, since I think someone posted you can get to level 30-31 by the end of Episode 2. I think I've cleared the map, and there are only 4 quests on the quest map - the 2 involving Braeys and Koda respectively; hunting Rabiel, and a generic one looking for signs of other gods. I assume choosing Braeys or Koda cancel out the other, and Rabiel and gods quests are not supposed to be finished on Episode 2? Or are they? Sorry for being anal, but I am a completionist I didn't know that non-boss mobs also give extra XP. Thanks for letting me now. I will try even harder to distribute XP more carefully now - though none of my characters are far apart, even though I have yet to make a conscious decision to even try to keep them close.

30-31 is a pretty maximized exp effort through respawns and such. You still have some respawn zones to clear. This will get you close to 30. You are not missing anything that I can see.

Standard Sacrifice builds aren't really a thing, as Kyera has other things to focus on than feeding SP to her teammates in most instances.
To use it most effectively, max lore is a must, and the sweet spot used to be level 2 before the rebalance. Not sure what the most efficient level is at this point, but it's easy math to figure out.
Max lore is a boon for her, as it boosts heals as well as Sac, so once her combat points are where they need to be, Lore is a great investment. At your level, SP drain may be the way to go, as it would be quite some time before you see worthwhile returns.

I'm currently playing a team known as the "Holy Rollers". The purpose is to showcase Kyera as a damage caster. Here is a sneak peak. Currently in the City of the dead. Once finished with the Heart of Ember tower I will do a full write up on what worked, what didn't, and the usual leveling checklists for each character. Holy Retribution(10) is a heavy hitter at 61-190 Holy Damage, gear and buffs pump accuracy, good for everyday use or those undead special occasions. Here you can see Banishment can hit up to 16 targets in a huge 25 square cloud for 83-216 Holy, 2% Critical. With all her gear and buffs take a look at that accuracy! How do you get that screen? That doesn't seem like my normal talent description screen. Also, speaking of the City of the Dead, is it better to side with Koda or Braeys? And how many levels am I expecting there? I am at 28.5 after finishing the druid quest, and I assume I am done with everything else in Episode 2. But I want to make sure that I don't enter Episode 3 under-leveled. That's correct. You see it on the map screen when you click/tap hover mouse over it when it is active (ready to cast). Not only do you get to see the base talent. But under the attack summary you see all the effects of scrolls or equipment added into the accuracy/damage etc. Koda or Braeys? My personal favorite has always been Braeys. My Vincent is always a curse castor, but if you want him to go close combat, he is show cased when selecting Koda. You are at a good level for taking on Episode 3. It looks like you registered 12/12/16 and already have 272 posts, awesome! +1 k, very glad you are here, welcome.
