First, let me say that I love, love, love this game! I also love this forum. I've been lurking for a bit and it is so refreshing to see that all the posts are civilized and respectful and that the devs participate a lot. I don't think I've run across a thread that didn't have at least one comment from a dev. This is my first post, so hi everyone!
One issue that I've had with the game is that I just have so much loot that it makes it hard to decide what to equip. While the equipment selection is fun to an extent, I'd like to spend more time killing monsters and less time figuring out my wardrobe. I try to sell off a lot of the stuff, but that process can get a bit tedious, especially since the list scrolls back to the top every time I sell an item. The stuff at the top of the list is what I was going to keep. So, here are my suggestions.
1. Group items by type: rings, bracers, etc. Even better if you could allow sorting by various criteria: which item has the best SP boost, which has the best accuracy boost, etc.
2. For multiple identical items put them in one row the same way the potions and scrolls are. I have no idea how many Left Hand of Fire bracers I have. I might want to keep one or two, but sell the rest. this would make it easier.
3. There is a lot of blank space on the item selection screen. I would love to have it split screen, with the equipped items on the left and the available items on the right. This would save a lot of time scrolling up and down trying to remember what I've already got equipped. This would also allow for a drag and drop an item into an available slot.

@fallingleft - welcome to the forum and thanks for the post. I really hope you'll leave a review on the game to help share it with others!
1. Already on our todo list. 2. Already on our todo list. 3. We support screens from small phones to tablets to 21" monitors on desktop. We have to be mindful of that as we design all of our interfaces. While we'd love to make all the interfaces more adaptive than they already are, we have to focus on high value items (#1 and #2 are great examples) instead of designing 2-3 variants on every other screen.
Thanks for posting and officially welcome to the party!

I completely agree with the need for a better way to sort items for equipping and selling... All good points here. Not sure what the best way to solve would be, but this would definitely be a good quality of life improvement if it can be done and pending the TB's time and priorities.
Welcome to the addiction that is HoS!

Thanks for the response, fallen. You mentioning running it on a phone made me remember that I had installed it on my phone and never tried playing it. I went to try it and I tried to restore the IAP characters I had bought on my Kindle, but it didn't work. Is there an issue with restoring purchases on Amazon?

fallingleaf - we are not aware of any Restore issues on the Kindle. Using the Restore button should pull down all purchases. If you are unsure whether its working or those were purchased on the Amazon App Store, you can contact Amazon support, I hear they are very responsive team.

Was just about to start a thread on item menu when I saw this. Thought I'd just put it in here.
Besides the above 2 suggestions, can we also have the selling screen at shops to not scroll back to the top after every transaction? It's painstakingly slow to scroll down the list each and every time u click sell for every single item. Grouping and sorting might ease the issue abit but after a long drudge through dungeons the pack is probably laden with too many bauble to sell to shop vendors all the same. Will save time if the last transacted row of item stays in screen for ease of going down the item list for clearance.
I figured I spent like the equivalent time for a map clearance just to sell my loot back in town after a long dungeon crawl

Another idea might be to allow the player to click on multiple items to sell all at once before hitting a final sell button.

Thanks mrsarfa. That did the trick. I don't know why that didn't turn up in my googling or forum searches about the issue. In the meantime I contacted Amazon and they gave me suggestions about clearing app store cache which didn't work, and refunded me the purchase price of the game for some reason. I hope that doesn't come out of Cory and fallen' s pockets.

Argh! Amazon has now deleted the game from my Kindle! Have I lost all my progress? I'm afraid to reinstall in case there's something I can do to recover it.

fallingleaf - Amazon deleted the game? Can you contact their customer support for help?

I did contact them by email. Don't really feel like talking to customer support by phone at this moment. I guess when they refunded it had the effect of removing the game from my Kindle. It's still installed on my phone but I imagine at some point it will quit working when it "phones home" to Amazon and finds out it's no longer purchased. So much for Amazon's great support team. I guess I just got a bad representative. I thought it was curious that they refunded the game but it still showed up as purchased in the app store. It no longer does. I don't mind re-purchasing since they refunded it, but I want to know if there's any way to recover progress. It's not the end of the world. I really only have two games going that I actually care about, and restarting will give me a chance to make up for some talent point decisions that I ended up regretting.
