I have made serious attempts to get this achievement four separate times now. Twice at least, I can verify I've achieved military rank 6 and character level 3 by year 63 in my faction, and I did not earn Rapid Rank i or ii. What am I doing wrong? What other requirements am I missing to earn these achievements?

What other requirements am I missing to earn these achievements? For RR-I, you have to be playing on at least Challenging difficulty. For RR-II, it must be set to Demanding or harder. If you are sure you've met all the requirements, then visit a palace and go to the Hall of Records and record exploits to claim the reward. All of this info is laid out in the awards section, available right from the title screen  |

Thank you... Somehow I never read that I have to visit a Hall of Records to recover the award.

Thank you... Somehow I never read that I have to visit a Hall of Records to recover the award. No problem, that's what the forum is for Has it worked for you, have you recovered the awards correctly? |

If you never visit the Hall of Records, you will probably miss 95% of the Awards in the game.
If you do not visit the Hall of Records before the deadline for the Award expires, you will not earn the Award.

Thank you... Somehow I never read that I have to visit a Hall of Records to recover the award. You haven't gone mad until you've failed repeatedly at this because your last few contracts for that rank had a Prince in Hiding, a Trade Ban that had you damaged for repairs or flat out killed, surprise Xeno attack or learned that some asshat blew up a satellite and shut down the exchange while your crew is out for your blood. Oh, the good ol' days. |

Or mini weinies and tp fall from the sky Oh good! One of my colonies has been having Food Riots lately. Some Trade Points should help pay for the damages and the weenies should feed those colonists! |

Forget the weinies and tp ... my crew of commando cats plummet down in a HALO jump to take out the rioters.  We originally tried out with whales, and a pot plant but that sort of failed. Then we tried with elephants  But the parachute just couldn't handle the loads ... |

well... its not 100% xenomorph byproduct... there is a 20% chance of hyrda-gun residue being mixed in and 31.4259% chance of finding shrapnel from a neptune repeater

I couldn't see the image - my work's "keep everyone safe from evil websites" policy auto-blocks anything that is slightly to do with "games". Good thing that Proboards must have some non-game related stuff, else I'd be screwed. I've quoeted the above to see if I can't tweak the image link to get it displayed. I suspect not, but hey, we can live in hope now can't we ... obviously hope is over-rated. Curse you corporate nanny state! |
