In terms of weapons giving defense bonuses, many guns do that.
Someone else will have to address the issue the pools to which other mods contribute.

Apologies...my words failed to give all the details my head knew... I think I was saying something along the lines of CID being the only non-gun/torp "weapon" that gave DEF (are there any other weapon mods besides guns/torps/CID? Lances, etc...are "guns") Edit: Clarified my previous post |
