Is anyone else experiencing slower character movement speeds since the update? It seems like attack animations are fine, but getting across the maps is a lot slower on my Galaxy S4 since this update was pushed. Side Note: Trese Bros you rock! This game is amazing. Thanks! I cannot see anything in the update related to map movement. Check to see if your options are set the way you want them. You might also consider a device reboot, Heroes is a fairly CPU intensive game and if something else is running wild in the background, it can impact the game pretty dramatically. Oy, true that. It kills the battery on my Nexus 7 - I can barely keep the charge up even with a charger, though that probably has to do more with my stupid electircal setup than anything else...

Uuufff, I beat the chief to the NW. That was a nasty nasty fight. Good thing Mighty Melee still has what it takes.

Damn Corey! You guys never fail to impress.... I can't recommend this game to enough people and wish you guys continued success. Keep up the great work. Cheers-A I'm going to do a little butt kissing as well. What consistently impresses me about both of you (Cory and Andrew) is the easily observed dedication. Perhaps others apply as much effort, but I don't know about them because of 'lack of transparency'. What do I mean by: 'lack of transparency' in other developers? Many other developers are very hush-hush. They don't provide regular information about their progress, probably weary of negative impact in the eyes of gamers. You two work in the open. What you've done is verifiable. What you're working on is verifiable. If you try to rebalance a game mechanic, you're up front about it. Again, verifiable. There is little ambiguity. That general straight forward honesty is quite appealing and comes in -very- handy when doing Kickstarter projects. So, I think I speak for most of all when I say "Good Policy." Keep at it. rabid

There were some weird ratkin in the Wolf Den. I freaked when I saw level 42 (me team is currently 33) but then they were completely underwhelming. Fyona and Vincent almost took out a Giant Rat together in one turn. He had like 40 hp left. I'm not sure if this is intended or not?

I will go looking. EDIT: found and fixed, sorry about that!

I'm playing on a Kindle Fire and I can't get it to update. In the past it has simply updated on its own. Anything I need to do?

I'm playing on a Kindle Fire and I can't get it to update. In the past it has simply updated on its own. Anything I need to do? The free (non-Gold) version didn't update on Amazon yet. The store hasn't updated that one, but updated the Elite (Gold) version. Trese Bros, you might have an incoming rejection notice from Amazon over some trivial thing again for the Free version.

Just finished the Wolf Lord Fight. That was insane. I had to set an alarm to wake me up when the enemy finally finished his turn. The combination of enemies and their abilities is brutal. The one I came to hate the most is the Berserk's massive cloud heal. It almost seems a little overpowered in my opinion considering how hard they are to kill. No deaths yet though, but I'm a little concerned now that I hit level 34 and the enemies leveled up to 39. Mighty Melee might be maxed out in how they can continue to grow and adapt to tougher and harder to hit enemies. The fight would be totally different if I had somebody who could do massive AoE magical damage. A level 10 LS Vincent would have been amazing. The one nice thing about this group it that with curses I don't need to worry too much about getting a few enemies in the backfield. Vincent finished most turns standing next to one, if not two mobs.

contributor - the combination of summoners and healers is very, very challenging. In the groups I took through there, AoE played a big role in making it feasible. Do you think we should look at toning down the size?

It's hard to judge based on my experiences with Mighty Melee. There are probably not a lot of all-melee groups that will go that far, so it is hard to judge from them. It definitely felt like too many mobs to them though. I spawned 6 shamanesses which really hurt. Even though I prioritized killing them off quickly it still took a very very long time to play out. It was basically like there was no way they were going to kill me, I just had to be really patient about working through the powerful mobs with special abilities and then cleaning up the trash. I have to say that at this point, throwing more at them wouldn't have really made a difference either, except in the time it would take to kill everything. It would be a totally different fight with a more offensively geared team that was weaker on defense. It could be really exciting to see how fast can you kill stuff off before too many wolves, berserks and snowballs reek havoc on your backfield. Of course the bridge option would help those groups a lot of they're smart enough to use it.
The other issue with size is also the time it takes the enemy to get through a turn. Even with Vincent taking 2 AP off of everybody he could, my tablet would almost always try to go to sleep while I waited for everybody to miss Selen and Kincaid. At times I felt more annoyed than challenged, but again a different group would be very different. I don't think I've got anybody who is set to go through there again for awhile. When I do though, I will keep thinking about it.

contributor - thanks for the feedback! One of my recently respec'd for AoE test groups I ran advanced into the battle, never retreating and cleaning fast enough to kind of "eat them as they came on". Another less optimized group had to retreat pretty far down the causeway.
