Mighty Melee basically just held the line with them on the causeway. They would do little retreats and surges to pull people into range and rush to kill them. They are unique in that Selen and Kincaid can survive encircled by 6 enemies and getting hit by archers, as long as most of them have been debuffed and there are no major curses on us. Fyona can tank 3-5 mobs as well, but does worse against archers. Vincent can do some tanking himself and can contribute 150-300 damage a turn on most mobs, as well. They fight in a big Y with Selen and Kincaid out front, Fyona behind them finishing mobs off or keeping them from getting to Vincent. Vincent a little further back moves forward and back cursing and when that's done he finishes off mobs or catches anyone who has made it all the way back to him. I always love it when an already damaged mob makes it to him thinking "Finally made it to the soft old mage, time to eat." They then fail to land a hit and the next turn Vincent puts them down with the Storm Cleave.
I have to say that I did find the repopulation of Bone Ridge to mostly just be annoying. I'm tired of killing Orcin now and just want to get on with the quest.

contributor - the group sounds really unique and fun to play. Thanks for all the feedback.

contributor, I would be interested in seeing a write-up of Mighty Melee... Every time you post about them I want to get one started and yours seems to work really well. If it isn't too much trouble, would you mind doing even a brief one (at some point)?

If it isn't too much trouble, would you mind doing even a brief one (at some point)? If I write it up, it will have to be with a lot of caveats. They're not super sexy and they don't do massive amounts of damage. They aren't really the funnest group to play and there are some big humps, like getting them through the Ratkin levels in one piece. They are survivors though, and if it weren't for a fatal fat-finger mistake they would probably be sitting at over a million points on the Nightmare Ironman board as an all-melee group. I love em, because I built em, but I don't know if others would find them as great as I do. All that, and I'm also forgetting exactly what stages I allocated all their talents in, so I'd have to do some backtracking and figuring.

It's all good- I have a few different configurations of my own I've been running through my head, so it's no big deal if you don't...

You don't get them until episode 3 in the City of the Dead. Look for the Platinum Peaks level. I won't spoil it by telling you what they are.

Sorry if this has already been asked. With all the latest patches should I restart my campaign all over or can I just continue with my current quest? Thanks

stubbieoz - we're going to keep putting out patches weekly, so I would not recommend restarting. Many of the fixes are for the UI, AI, upgrading Talents, loot and the rest. The ones that matter the most are new optional side-quests, and at this point, we're making sure you can go back and do those -- so you should be all set. If you've already run through Episode 1, then you've got the option to Boost-In quickly to E2 and try a new group if that is appealing!

Thank you for the quick reply. Acording to my quest log I am still in episode 1 (wow this game is huge!) It is good to know that I can go back and do the extra side quests. And thank you fallen for a fantastic game. I have it installed on my iPad. I am an old rpg gamer and games of the quality of Heroes of Steel are far and few. The patches you keep giving the game are very appreciated and thats why I have bought every additional character. You deserve support.

stubbieoz - thank you very much for your support. I hope you'll check out our two other games on iOS. All future Trese Brothers games will be headed to your device! While we've been adding a lot of content, it's all at the end of Episode 3. So, you're in great shape to keep trucking along!
