I'm playing Made not Born on Brutal, and I ran into an interesting bug for the last few hours-- my CK doesn't seem to heal at all when resting.
So I don't know if step #1 is strictly necessary, but here's what I know I did differently than others would in making this bug.
1: When you call Max Mercer and he sends you to Heaven's Pharmacy to use the Medkit, I did NOT use it on myself.
2: As directed by Max Mercer, I slept at the Gaslamp Inn. I recovered no health whatsoever, or MP points.
3: Other locations I've slept at-- my safehouse in Black Row and the Canalside Hotels ALSO don't give me any health or MP when I rest there.

Officer Genious - that is correct, sleeping at a hotel does not restore much HP. You need to seek medical attention. If you have less than 8 HP, you'll get one box, as long as you aren't over 250 DV.

You should be recovering MP to 7, though. That is not happening?

Including when I stumble out of surgery with 2-3hp at the start of the game. grävling-- No, that doesn't go up either.  Its a bit baffling. |

The inns don't heal you properly if you are staying in them for free. |

I just tried my Queen. Started a new game, went and got medkit but didn't use it. Got 25 credits from Max and stayed at Gaslamp. HP went from 4 to 5, MP went from 2 to 7.

Yeah, working here on my pile devices. Officer Genious - while it sounds crazy, restarting the device can often help fix lots of really strange Android bugs. |

I started a new game. I did not use the medkit on me. Hotels all work properly for me.

fallen- Restarting my phone (and having my character killed) ended that bug, but now I can't get McFly to take my new character anywhere. He complains about my "high heat" even when I'm carrying no jobs and have 16 section heat (and only 18 NBZ-wide). I'll try another restart to see if I can steampunk this cabbie a spine for once in his life...
