What are you saying about my Cadarian roots? Just because my mother was a Cadarian goddess, doesn't reflect on my Moklumnue blood. I still love the torpedo, only now, I have the incredible wealth and royal blood to use them whenever I wish without consequences, like running out.

I have heard of this attack. My personal favorite is the lit frogs. Pure inspiration, random dispersion because of the constant hopping, pure genious. Don't take the Cadar the wrong way. They love you, really. Your pelt would compliment any Cadar Warship's bridge. Especially as a captain's chair throw. Would make him the envy of the fleet. Don't worry ntsheep, my Cadar roots make me love you, but not that much.

The High Templar punches a glass case, marked for emergency use only, with his mailed fist. Inside is a maximum security cyro-case. The Templar pulls a one time use security card on a lanyard from around his neck, cracks it open and reads the code then inputs it into the case, inserts two seperate keys on either side and turns. It opens with a hiss. As the vapor clears inside he sees a six pack of crystal pepsi, a set of warship keys, and a docking bay number. "Ensign! locate and deliver this to the ntsheep at once!" May Shulan have mercy on our souls.

Glad to have you back in active duty, ntsheep. With your guidance, our security systems have received the proper upgrades, and we are far more suited to locate and deal with faction spies that overstep their bounds. How goes the field reports, Commander CdrPlatypus? Has first contact been made yet or are the Xeno filth biding their time? Hopefully our active duty faction ships, as well as the Star Traders in the area know to stay out of sight until our defense fleets are assembled and sent to the area. Word has been sent to any vessels manned by Alta Mesa, hopefully the other factions will do the same. If there is any way that we can be of service, do not hesitate to ask, Templar. ....... Where the hell am I supposed to get a decent coffee now...... /Looks around for floop.... /Wonders why poor floop isn't a proper noun, I mean she is a real person here, right? .../Thinks 'Screw it' .../calls her over.... Floop. Would you be so kind as to ask ntsheep to teach you how to make his strongest brew, one last time before he resumes active duty? I fear that his artful mastery of the coffee run will be lost upon his departure. One last thing, dear: please inforn torvus that you have now been recognized as an honorary proper noun, and as such shall be henceforth referred to with a capital letter at the beginning of your name, befitting your new found coffee runner status.

//OOC Sorry I'm late with the report guys//**PRIORITY TRANSMISSION** EMERGENCY REPORT FROM THE SW FRONTThe dreaded Nyktos Xeno have beaten us to colonization. They have colonized all, but one system in what was the 2nd proposed expansion zone, including both reds. Alta Mesa had the closest colony ship which was quickly diverted and took the center white system (New Haven) in the zone. the 2 Templar defenders and 2 Wolf-E (+1 evasion upgrade) cruisers have moved into it's greens space. New Haven has built a starforge1 and is currently subsidizing the building of defenses. These unfortunate events have necessitated emergency rerouting of other colony ships. Zenrin which was promised one of the Red systems was instead given Extreth a yellow system in the Prime Zone (18 quality / 11 mineral) In exchange for taking the most forward SW position in the Now renamed Aurelius Prime system after their esteemed lead Admiral Brutus AureliusTemplar Command has adopted a rapid emergency colonization program. Rerouting other colony ships to the nearest available systems while trying to maintain a balance of resources between the factions. We need to head off further Xeno incursion asap GENERAL WAR EFFORT REPORTAll colonies with the means have been converted from economic projects to industrial (more factories) or military (ship production) for the coming war. Our engineers have Designed a new Space Superiority Fighter to replace the strike fighter: The Raptor MIII, which is being rushed into production: **Classified** Also has Combat Crew Upgrade: +4dmg/+1Gun/+4%Crit and Prow Sail upgrade: +1 Evasion Research has finished on deepspace operations 2 (multi fighter repair / multi refuel) and is focusing on reactor research for now (//OOC *meta I know** Srsly we will want the lvl 9 reactor for military transports trust me //) Our engineering team is now working on designs for carriers to support our new fleet as well as a specialized assult fighter. Please share design suggestions with Templar command. Design decisions for Carriers: 1.) Are repair carriers to be only focused on repair or are they to have combat capabilities as well? 2.) If combat capable should they A.) Lance + Torpedo B.) Lance only C.) Torpedo Only 2a.) Combat Training For Guns: i.) Precision (6 wf/ +3 acc) ii.) Heavy (8 wf/+8dmg) iii.) Barrage (0 wf/ 0 modifiers) 2b.) Combat Training for Torpedoes I.) Strike (4 wf/ no mod) II.) Spread (10 wf / +4dmg/+3acc) 3.) Upgrade priorities Armor or better weapons? (only so much mass capability until getting better reactors) Please Share your input for design ideas. I figure this is the best way for everyone to participate in the game right now.

Templar Logs 6.15AE
Unbeknownst to most members of the faction council ntsheep is a secret agent of Templar Command, a former member of an experimental super pilot program whose aim was to push pilots beyond normal limits using long forgotten and banned combat drugs such as Crystal Pepsi in conjunction with extreme training and conditioning regimens that make the Steel Song's Top Gun school look like a kindergarten after school program. The project was terminated and disavowed after several incidents involving TP and mini-weenies. However in-light of the current crisis with the Nyktos Xeno the High Templar decided to reactivate the last known surviving member of the project. The infamous Ntsheep and unleash him upon the Xenos. Hopefully this does not backfire. The project was known to create psychological instabilities in its subjects.

CdrPlatypus For carriers I would suggest we focus on armor over weapons. Arming them with torps only should help keep them out harms way as much as possible. Basically heavily armored and armed with torps would be my suggestion. I'd leave upgrades up to whatever seems like a good idea, focusing on Hypersonic attack and armor would be my choice.

Torvus Mk1 - strip the guns and remove gun skill from captin.
Add torps and torp skill
Add much armour
Any space left then add movement speed.... then torps. ..... maybe fule efficacy. ... and torps. .... did i mention armour oh and torps
Think i covered it

Torpedo Carriers are indeed the most efficient way to build them. I have no objections to the builds proposed by hissrad and torvus, and believe Carriers set up in this manner will serve us faithfully for the war to come.

However, I propose that our Refuel Carriers, when built, be equipped with Lances, and abstain from combat.

Clan Moklumnue only wishes to comment that support vessels should all be equipped with ranged weapons and stay back from close combat. This is basic strategy.
We defer to our ship building breathern on specific fighter tech.

Torpedo Carriers it is.
Lets get some input on cruisers now. Are we going to comission any for offense and if so what do they look like?
