Thanks for posting our decisions to the VoC En1gma. Would it make stuff easier if we discussed here and you always summarised and posted to the VoC?

bookworm21 agreed. If for some reason I won't be able to post it, I'll be sure to let everyone know. I'm fine with doing it while the game is relatively simple, but once the decisions made are more and more complex, perhaps we could start alternating? What do you think, @rearick, dragolord about alternating, or for maybe deciding who will do the upcoming cycle once it begins? Like I said- I can handle it while it's easy and quick, it's just once it picks up.

Perhaps we should do as we did in the last game and just leave it to whoever has the time a few hours before the deadline. I'll probably have a bit of time most days, unless the deadline is at some ungodly hour.

En1gma dragolord3PM PST is 2300 local over here, so I will pretty much always be on shortly before the deadline if I am needed And I am fine with the idea of rotating responsibility for summary. Unless you guys wish to go down the route of us all having a certain area to summarise: eg: Fleet, Colonies part 1 and part 2? This could work if we are looking to micromanage individual colonies. Basically, as long as we all know who is summarising the current turn cycle I am fine with whichever arrangement. When we start colonising more planets would you ( CdrPlatypus) find it helpful to have a general 'build priority' list to speed things up? I reckon we can put something like that together if it helps you.

Great, just so long as someone calls it, then it looks like we're all set.

Single, opportunistic posting seems to be the way forward. Also, if we agree quickly, we can claim that everyone else is copying us, the unoriginal spiceheads that they are.

I disagree that we should be posting our proposals piece by piece. We should all come to an agreement here and post a single proposal for the VoC. I've tried to run one of these, and the easier we can make it for CdrPlatypus the better this whole game will go.

Greeting honorable Alta's. We of Zenrin have decided to not challange any claims of the star that En1gma mentioned wanting originally for your Prime. We wish you the best of luck in your endeavors to make it a new home.

We hope you enjoyed your stay ntsheep, and that you found the hospitality up to par. We may not be as fancy as the Mok clan, but what we are able to offer is unique in its own way. Your acquiescence to our humble request is most appreciated, and shall not be forgotten, friend.

A messenger walks in and bows. "Honorable representatives of the great Alta Mesa The mighty High Templar requests your presence for a meeting of the Faction council"

I represent Clan Moklumnue and wish to inquire as to your long term research strategy.
The Templar is concerned that I'm too wishy washy. I was of the opinion that our houses were on a similar line of thought. Do you want to advance the planetary construction techs or did you want to go for something specific?
We look forward to trading lucratively with your second aunt's trained monkeys.

As a personal opinion of mine, we should focus on a strong economy before our fighting power, so we can crush them later.

dragolordAs the first player to step up to claim this faction, I have no objections to En1gma being our primary representative. As to our research strategy, I would prefer to focus on getting exchanges and progression to Hab 2, which will enable any low-quality secondary colonies to stay productive. However, I do realise that we must maintain a strong military option should we encounter xeno earlier than expected, so I welcome your feedback on this issue.
