1 IRL, it took probably about 3 or 4 hours of gameplay. I had to restart the third level a few times. Trial and error 2, Restarting the guns was the hardest for me. Luthor or my captain would die near the far capacitors and I would get mad. I tried about 3 or 4 times. I would all levels were really fun tho The hardest was the attempt to retake deck 14 Favorite Templar is hard to choose from. Scouts seem a bit underwhelming though. They don't do much damage and die very easily. Soldiers can hang on much longer and do more damage. Engineers for me only really could capture TP, since I didn't unlock Repair until after the last level. The Knight and Captain were pretty epic, throwing grenades and killing three enemies or more with a single sword swing

The Scout's Stealth abilities are really fun, poorly explained and a big part of why you'd use that class.
Need more Tutorial =)

1. About 3 hours on normal 2. Once on the final level 3. The level to get the guns working again. 4. Last level, by far. I'm doing a second run on Challenging and I've lost twice now. On first Normal run through I died once, but Challenging is nuts. The Captain and the other Knight don't stand a chance, even fully buffed. 5. Soldier class by far is the most fun for me. Overwatch is awesome. Scout class is fun too, but their main weapon needs to do more damage. I need them to kill an enemy every turn and they just can't do it most rounds.

1. 5 ish hours on hard 2. 2x 3. Lvl 3 4. Lvl 3 5. The solider was by far the mvp, but the knight whom I herby crisin Sir Badass, was the most fun
Other notes. I found lvl 4 to be anti climatic and pretty boring compared to lvl 3. With all the tight twisting corridors it was easy to setup killzones and at times the enemy would seem unable to path and just stay put.
I don't know if it's already planned, but I think it would be cool/good to have the knight or maybe your genetic memory explain some of the new xeno types in lvl 4

But if you count all the times that retried it was much much more. 2. Level1 0, Level2 4, Level3 3, Level4 3 3. Level 3 4. Level 2 5. Hard to say, Soldier was definitely the most useful. I was not impressed by the Knight or Captain. I like the idea of the scout, but that might be bleed through from TA. Now, what to do next? Up the difficultY? Try and beat all the turn caps? Create a squad of scouts? I did find different trips through the levels to be very different in terms of difficulty. My first try at level 4 saw a mob of 2 Goliaths, a Spitter, a Brood Mother and a hunter all at the same time. And at that point I had already killed 2 other Goliaths and a Spitter. In my last run, I only fought one Goliath and one Spitter.

1. 5 - 6 hours or thereabouts 2. L2 around 5x; L3 2x; L4 3x 3. L3 4. L2 5. Soldiers are superb, really like the overwatch skill. Scouts look interesting, especially the cursing attacks. Playing on Normal. I would like to support contributor comments about the spawn affecting the difficulty of the level. My success on L4 was a fluke. I had 3 attempts getting whipped by significant numbers of the new Xeno types, then on the 4th attempt I saw 1 broodmother and maybe a dozen of the normal skittering/hunter types, a veritable cake walk compared to the previous 3.

I want to expand on why I enjoyed lvl 3 the most. The interactive / responsive map where rather than just nope this power nodes not working, but it's exploding in your face! Really added to the atmosphere for me of being on a battleship that is damaged and under siege, while you are trying to escort a combat engineer through a hot zone to get the guns up and running with bubble gum and bailing wire. From a tactical perspective the large open zones with a few corridors and choke-points really had me working on a mobile stratagem. It felt rewarding. My best playthrough so far was 2 scouts, 2 soldiers, 1 engineer and of course cpt. I had the engineer and cpt connected at the hip backed up by a solider, a solider and scout defending the tac point while I needed it then later 2 scouts acting together in the middle for long distance fire support with a solider keeping them covered from swarms. I will note that the scouts dmg was underwhelming it felt like I needed 2 to do the job of one, but the range was useful.

I have no idea how long I've taken for any of my playthroughs. Need to have the game keep track of it.

I have no idea how long I've taken for any of my playthroughs. Need to have the game keep track of it. Fair enough. I'll see how we could do that into the game itself. We get metrics about it but not at the user or campaign level.
