I saw the discussion about the Black Market in the ST2 threads, but can't comment there. Black Market is pretty straight forward and the other suggestions are good. There's also "Smuggler's Den" A few more words to muse over would be Clandestine, illegal, hideout/hideaway, lair, outlaw, bootleg, felonious, criminal, banned, mercantile, marketplace One idea though, would be to have all blackmarkets have a specific name and maybe get accessed through a contact, because you'll never see a sign for "Black Market" next to the legal market. You just see "Habib's Import/Export" and then you get ushered into the back room if you have the right connections. It would make it feel like that much more of an underground adventure. Edit: Maybe I'll tag Cory Trese here, since he's probably looking elsewhere. |

I see the name discussion is back on in the ST2 forum, where I can't post.
I think Star Traders Reunion would be a strong contender. It's short and describes the age. After the scattering of the Exodus the vast quadrants begin to reunite. The only down-side is it can be read something like "Family Reunion." So other variations would be Star Traders Union (which may also have a double sense) or Star Traders Unity.
Otherwise I think something unique to the game would also be good. Something about the Farfallen Rim maybe, if that is indeed where they are? Star Traders: Rim Life / Star Traders: Rim Worlds / Star Traders: Farfallen Rim.
Or maybe merge them together, Star Trader Rimunion anybody?
A last thought Star Traders Rebirth could work as well. The Star Traders have been in exile and now they begin to rebuild, reunite and become a power again.
Dang, I just keep getting one more idea: Star Traders Renaissance

I plugged "Renaissance" into my thesaurus. There were a number of possibilities, but "Resurgence" really stood out. Not sure if it fits the tone of the game though. Since it's still pre-launch some text can no doubt still be shifted fit the desired tone of the game. "Revival" kind of struck a certain note with me too.
