Soooon. Would you believe that the TB's actually had a rough ETA! I will leave them to share it though as nobody would believe it if anyone other than Andrew or Cory wrote the post.
"What, the TB's actually put an ETA in something that could be stored digitally or otherwise? Naaah, you must be meaning some other cool and crazy developer duo."
"No, serious. I read it. I saw the copy. It's real I tell you"
"Soon you'll be telling me you can beat ST without investing a single point into pilot. Or or or ... that Xenos are actually the good guys, and the 'exodus' was actually a cover story for an out-right invasion. Or or or ... that Steel Song are a viable faction, and deserve our respect."
On that last note, the patron laughed so much he fell off the bar stool.
Luckily, company policy is still company policy. So never fear, we'll keep answering "no ETAs" for everything else
Eagerly awaiting Phase 3. The "ETA" estimate in the email makes me think that Monday (today) is early next week... and I know that I shouldn't think this... I should also forget that I even received an email with a date approximation.
Email received 7/13: Phase 3 is Up Next We're excited now to be looking toward Phase 3 - in which we will release the full game and story to you, our esteemed alpha crew. We learned valuable lessons from this phase in Heroes of Steel - and we're looking forward to getting the same exposure for Battleforce. This will help us find and fix issues in levels and the story flow, improve balancing, and tighten up places in the story. You'll be able to dive in and play all of the content that we have available.
We are hoping that Phase 3 will be released early next week - so stay tuned.
If you saw that email with the Phase 3 ETA, please look at this:
