Cultists. Wretched misshapen fanatics. A nuisance at best times, and a threat at any other. Their only excuse for their numbers is their pathetic health pools. Rolling down a number of them quickly giving your squishies a much needed breathing room. Now, all I need is a 3AP longbow. None in Brunehorn. Guess I should've moved to Brayes lands. Gotta run up to Granthorn quick before delving into madness the underforge.

Learning the point defense and avoidance game. Point Fyona to one chosen opponent and avoid being hit by most of all else. With just shy of 500HP she really can't take more than one 300+ swing.

Cursed cultists. Party 24. Cultists 24. Tamilin losing stealth. Not often, not fatally, but it happens every now and then. Their only excuse is their low HP. Though, I said that already. Managed to kill Vraes… >.< Should have not played the game while half asleep.

Underforge final battle. Incantations of Sustainment used: 12. Tomes of Sustainment used: 1. Manually rebuffed (fully): twice. Plus DI here and there, when Tamilin was losing it. Time spent kiting the boss: priceless.

When i did underforge after running through the ritual things i used 2 different dmg incantations and like 5 incantations of sustainment on vraes and sent him in to fight vurnak alone while the other cleaned the archers and stuff off him.. bc 1200hp and armor + parry out the wazzoooo just cant be killed

That's possible, but then you are losing a frontline attacker. I just kept Fyona around the boss for -AP debuff. But she othervise did a good job debuffing enemies when they were around her range, and healing in between, when opponents managed to cause more than a little damage to the party. So, all in all, it was an enjoyable lap of honor. Only fizzled once sending Tamilin for the chest, and failed ensuring that the way back is clear. Good I realized it quick enough to reset the turn.

Blinked. Lost Kjartan to an archer left loose. >.< 15 deaths. Still doesn't come close to ~60 counter of my previous run. Othervise, the major observation is that I'm finding myself keeping on the defensive, unless opponents all only have melee units. In the open the major slow down is the chance to trigger second spawn. In the tower, narrow, twisted passages discourage rush tactics. Still, having reliable damage output from every (okay, most) characters in the team is a considerable speedup for the whole process.

A word I promised on Silent Stalker. Yes. Yes, it works as advertised. It crits on stealth turns. Sometimes. Sometimes not. What I wanted to say is - when you have a nice pack of low-armor mobs, SS isn't that pretty on average. You gotta make choices. And that is really good game design. Me likey.
P.S. And, oh, #1000 post >.< I'm a flooder. Am I not?

I've learned to not be afraid. If I stand my ground and put up a fight, I can clear incoming mobs fairly quickly. Dragging fight back and holing in the trenches is what killed me in the first fight in the Tower of Loss. If only I had stood in the room and just pressed the necromancer into submission, I would have been ready for Wraith and other stuff pouring from other room with next to no backlog. Reckoning 7 under Zealous Strike is just that good.
