2: Upon looking at the star map, can our hive ship even make it to Bukatov to be the first to land. If that's the case, us landing first is a moot point. The ships that stand the chance of making planet fall in one short jump are the ones that need to focus on landing." I must obj... * glances at the map provided to the council. Closes his mouth with a snap and examines it closesly.* Councillor ntsheep may have a point. We have no way of knowing which hive can make it to their destination in time. If our colony ship is able to make it to Startstreak Heights within the week (ooc without ending the turn, that is /ooc), I still maintain that the Exalted Clan Moklumnue be given first priority and my vote lands with us. If, on the other hand, our ship cannot make it within the week I will gladly back whomever can, as long as Moklumnue is given second priority. I will gladly concede to a vote if it comes down to one, but hold out hope that the other memebers of our esteemed council will see the merit in my argument for Moklumnue.

The High Templar currently is up to his elbows in the disemboweled guts of his personal transport attempting to swap the alternator (note to future self and potential offspring never buy a compact car with the bigger engine ever again. If 2 engines for same model get the smaller one, so there is some motherboard loving space for your hands *$&=@!!!!) As such landing is being delayed until Monday.
Please also come to a determination regarding scouting directive. We have landed in the middle of the sector. To we go east, west, or turtle?

Your Excellency CdrPlatypus, we of Clan Moklumnue advocate an aggressive scouting strategy. We feel the best way to go about securing the quadrant is to know as much as possible about it. To that end, we suggest sending out both cruisers and the explorer vessel at once. They should have contingency strict orders as follows; IF contact is made with the xeno, the ship in contact should break contact and flee in a direction at least 90 degrees away from our core space. IF an unexplored system is discovered, the crew should document its location and send a messenger probe back to the nearest friendly planet (ooc tap it! /ooc). IF an unexplored anomaly is discovered, the crew should document its location and send a messenger probe back to nearest planet. IF 10 weeks elapses, the cruisers should return to the nearest planet for refit and refuel. IF a xeno colony is discovered, the cruisers should be oriented in such a way as to position themselves on the farthest green sector between the xeno colony and friendly planets. The ships could scout out the area surrounding our core worlds in order to find at least 6 candidates for a second wave expansion, although more is always welcome.

It seems as if we have more room to explore on our western flank, and it is our opinion that we vigorously explore to the west, while taking a measured approach to the east. Should we encounter the Xeno at such an early stage in our development, we will likely find ourselves in a perpetual war at an early point in time.
We must also explore to the north, as far as we can. There may be ways the Xeno can slip around our field of vision and we need to identify where these places may be.
Also to this effect, Thulun would request funding to build and maintain a basic fighter, only once our Prime has settled and there are no pressing needs for the colony. Since it appears as if we will be pursuing factories in lieu of colonization, we will need to safeguard our future assets should the Xeno come knocking.

The High Templar closes the access panel on his personal transport. "almost done just one thing left to do..." Picks up a paint sprayer and paints 1st ! ;P on the side. Chuckling to himself, "that will settle that argument". Hops in and flys ahead of the formation of hive ships to make the first planetfall of humanity's new empire.
Honored Faction leaders it is a great day as we have established the first colonies of a glorious future for humanity.
Each Faction now has established a capital and has begun construction.
The Templar fleet has begun exploring our immediate surroundings and has made several discoveries that have helped our initial technology research greatly.
Exploration results: +$150 , +100RP , +50RP, +$150, -morale, +morale, +10cp (to thulun prime...figures)
We have finished research on planetary construction 1, starship construction 1, and started on planetary construction 2. Strike fighters, colony ships, and spice dens (lvl 1) are no available as construction projects.
Political report: Thulun and Moklumnue have formed an Alliance (random. we don't have the tech for this) and a trade meeting is in progress.
new maps and details of newly discovered and surveyed systems will be available tomorrow the dept of cartography is currently working on making charts ith the new information.

Your Excellency CdrPlatypus, I'm sure I speak for all councilors when I say we are anxiously awaiting your charts and new information. With that said, please present it at your leisure. Please also convey the gratitude of the Exalted Clan Moklumnue on the brave Templar explorers. I have a small point I'd like to raise, we simply must name our Templar cruisers and exploration vessel. Every ship deserves a name. If I may humbly suggest "The Pride of Gundamgoth" for the exploration vessel.

I swore those were Narv ships, about poo'd myself. XD
As a Javati smuggler (I may go to Moku to balance everything out, it was a close second anyway), I'd like to know how the Trade Routes are going.

Honored Delegates of the Alliance: The Great House Thulun comes before you all with our delegation's consensus, we hope that it will be given much thought and careful consideration, that such a unanimous voice has been brought forth. House Thulun urges our companion factions to cease exploration to the East. The asteroids have been mapped, and no contact has been made. Yet. Should we press our luck, we risk open and unending war with our enemy. Again, we urge the Javat and Mokklumune factions to call off the exploration of the Eastern front, lest we alert our enemies to our (so far) unnoticed presence. We of House Thulun have also decided that funds must be allotted to the construction and maintenance of a single basic Fighter Craft. This craft, upon completion must immediately be sent North, to the Yellow system directly North of Thulun Prime. There is much ground to cover, and our three Templar ships are ill-equipped to handle the entirety of our defense. This is of course no disrespect to our venerable leader, CdrPlatypus, merely an insurance against a worst-case scenario. Namely: Xeno colonization of an Alliance intended System. Thulun wishes this Fighter class ship be constructed before our colony ship, as we will be ale to complete both construction far before our companions finish their own. House Thulun strongly urges the other factions to send colony ships Northward, claiming the three systems to the North. Thulun would lay claim to the system directly North of our Prime, as this system was the one initially picked up on our Deep Space Scan Module upon our jump's completion. With Thulun colonies on these two systems (Thulun Prime and the northern Yellow system to the East), the Eastern flank would be much easier to defend, and will ensure the safety of the Alliance. This is the will of House Thulun.

En1gma, your proposal has been received and we, the voice of Clan Moklumnue, will examine it most closely. Suffice to say that we will need some time to digest the newly released survey data in conjunction with your proposal and, dare I say, Clan Javat's soon forthcoming proposal. Please stand by for the Exalted Clan Moklumnue's counter-proposal.

Honorable faction representatives cartography reports that a fully annotated map of newly discovered systems will be published and distributed tomorrow. En1gma Thulun Prime is ahead of the construction curve so a lvl 1 stock strike fighter can be built (if you want the cpt and ship materials points adjusted pm me an exact list) I am prepared to grant settlement rights of the northern most yellow system to House Thulun if it is named krakun 's tower and he agrees to keep his volatile flasks there and nor bring them into the CIC.

Illustrious High Templar, Councilor Lurker of Clan Moklume hereby requests that tenbsmith and resistor be added to the list of Clan Moklume Councilors. He would also remind others that for only 10 credits you too can be an honorable Clan Moklume Councilor and begin charging the same fee to your friends and family to make them Councilors as well, provided you pass some credits up to the top of our glorious pyramid of financial insecurity.
