And Here I liked the closer spacing, less hand travel one handed since the holding my tablet with the other... Edit:I'm the odd duck out anyway since I liked the blue arrows... Actually, that just make you part of the majority of players -- so don't feel too bad

Hand is by definition have more freedom, than mouse poiner. I see no reason to clutter touch controls. Quite opposite, space them away as much as possible, and make them as big as you can. On my 7'' tablet, character portraits are so small and so close together that I have to be careful to not misclick. Double careful now that "AutoBuff" is trying to jump under my finger. In fact, I nearly clicked AutoBuff several times now instead of selecting Tamilin to lead party after map change.

In fact, I nearly clicked AutoBuff several times now instead of selecting Tamilin to lead party after map change. I'm pretty smack dap in the middle of average size myself, with an essential tremor and on a 7" fire tab. So for jumpy fingers I feel you, If I were large size, or on a phone then more so. But I lay in bed with my elbow on the mattress when gaming at night, and that for me means LESS arm/hand freedom than when I gamed at a corner desk 15-20 years ago. The auto buff button is the same size as the char. portraits, so it's no more difficult to hit, and the portraits are bigger than the talents, and those are bigger than the equipment, character panel access and next char. button. So to me it seems odd you have trouble with the largest of buttons... I have to slow and steady my movements for those tiny equipment and next char. buttons, but not so for auto buff or the portraits.

I'd agree - that is odd. anrdaemon are you having issues hitting all the other buttons on the HUD? Maybe your device's specific size and DPI ratio is making the game too small to play? We could work on making the character tray larger overall?

It isn't too small, just some areas are more accessible than other. It isn't very comfortable, but you're getting used to it, barring the extreme examples. I.e. the new location of "next character" button (and generally any vertically stacked controls of small size) is a little difficult, but it is spaced enough from party panel switch to compensate. Character portraits together with their health bars are barely larger than the size of a fingertip and they are crampled together. Not an issue by itself, but the AutoBuff button stuck next to them IS an issue. My request to space them out wasn't a functional one (again, AutoBuff button excluding), even though I have arguments for that, as you've seen. (BTW, I'm often playing in bed, too, since my tablet is my primary alarm clock.) My request was purely visual, as they look somewhat weird, crampled so tightly together with such amount of free space on both sides. Just a little spacing could go a long way. P.S. Not related to TB games. While we are on the topic, I'd like to give my insight into [not very] recent drive to "unify UI" for all kinds of control methods. In a single phrase it is: How the hell you are going to "unify" inherently extremely mobile, but highly imprecise "finger" input method and extremely precise, but hardly mobile typical mouse input? I only see one way: make UI equally unusable for both methods. Which is clearly demonstrated by the modern "ribbon" UI.

Either your fingers are larger, the dpi screen greater (making smaller icons) or definition of finger tip is different. For me the portraits and auto buff are a bit larger than my thumb print area, but index finger "tip" is 1/10 that size.
I thought I'd be bothered by the last update bringing the portraits together visually cramped too, but didn't, so that's a personal esthetic. Maybe somewhere between now and the former would work for you?
Braille readers and the earliest touch screens, at least back to the early eighties when it was all sticky glass making slide gestures impossible (twisting was used instead) show fingers are surprisingly precise. Before my tremor developed I used to type querty on a 3.5 inch iPod and play scrabble 15x15 without always zooming...

~5.86''x3.65'' screen with 1280x800 pixels. Something like 216 DPI.

Because every screen has different pixel density, sizes can vary greatly across devices. What anrdaemon is reporting is not uncommon, since we support over 9,000 different Android devices. The code that setups the screen and the scale has a lot of special branches to cover certain devices that are far out of band like the Samsung Note 12" and others like the Nexus 7 even. You'd be surprised how much insanity can be packed into 9,000 devices over the last number of years.

Hello there!
Just a quick guest-entry, as I was noticing some "odd behaviour" after the last Android update (or so I thought). If I read the patch-notes right, game speed was adjusted to "high" as a default? That would totally explain why my characters are suddenly racing around, but there doesn't seem to be an entry in the options menu to bring it back down to normal. Is this intended, or perhaps an isolated issue?
I'm on stock Android, version 4.2.2

@speedy - we collapsed the option and made high speed the default speed for the game. Overall, the game plays much faster. I hope that you come to appreciate it! Please keep us udpated.

Yes, this is a 7 inch tablet. Fully packed. Was the best deal at the time. ^_^ By many criterias. GPlay identifies it as "<carrier> HUAWEI HUAWEI MediaPad". OS and firmware details are in my signature. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it is present on GSMarena. Found it.

Hey guys, just curious but what will the new dungeons be about? Will they continue the main story or the side quests (the storm bastion :J ) because I can't wait to fight another god (with righteous reasons, of course ) also, great to hear that new music is coming, the old one is ok but diversity is always welcome

As to the content of those dungeons ... the Quest Log is the best hints I can drop.
