Wow I did not know that I thought it was one and done. Deleted file and restarted. Oh well. No play like a perfect playthrough. contributor for the lvl before the lich lvl I suggest respeccing and re-gearing for firepower and speed. I can reliably take down 3 of the four AA turrets on turn one. 1 Solider with rally cry 4 and at least 2 pts in concussion grenade. Scout respecced for penetrating shot to rip armor and deflection off the turrets, I like to swap one solider for a fullauto 5+ neptune, but I've also played through it with a plasma gunner as second solider. I save the grenades for the second bach of AA turrets and use them all in one turn (the cpts and at least 1 solider). I do best on that lvl by playing 100% offense.

That's how I've been playing Ironman in BF. If one dies, I start over. I've made as far as the Tunnel Complex level of the Rubic 5 missions. That's the one that's getting me the most. It's fun though because I'm having to come up with so many different strategies for different difficulty levels. Most of the tactics I put in the guide will work, the biggest difference is some times having to wait an extra turn or two to get out another Templar or ordnance that you'll need. The biggest thing I've noticed is that speed kills in Ironman. Trying to do a level in the same amount of time you did it before on a lower setting is what gets you the most. The bright side is that there tends to be more xenos so your bonus from kills per turn goes up pretty high.

Well I just finished Drayan Palace. So it's on to the Lich now. Everyone is still present and accounted for. I'm still a fan of speed. Move fast and hit hard. It also seems to help with overwatch too. By moving the whole team each turn I generally have a lot fewer angles to cover. Mostly I've got the one behind me with a huge mob trailing after.

You tease, stringing those xeno along like that. :-p

As far as your mind goes, Regarding Henry is a nice film about that restart... I'm beginning to think your life is a movie, maybe time to get a new script writer...

My life is every story, movie, etc, you can think of. Parents got divorced before I was four. Was the odd kid in every possible way you might think off. Mostly self taught. Very smart and yet a complete goof off. Not a whole lot of friends growing up or now. Want to do everything yet can spend most of my time doing nothing it seems. My life is simple yet complex. I can't wait to see the anime version of it. That will rock.

My current Ironman squad just passed Galantia Cross Drop Zone without any losses, but it was very, very close. I always play through on Ironman.

I guess I'm Hardcore Ironman then. That would make a nice achievement though, beat the game on Ironman without a single death.

Ding dong the Litch is dead, the Litch is dead! The team performed admirably and I can say we didn't even have any close calls. Nyra kept everybody well within the safety limits. They're at 3.5 mil now. I'm bringing up my Neptune, Marcus, and he shined admirably. He held the cross-roads for the first away team to the east focus and then help hold the center, cooling off for the final assault to the north.

contributor - very nice! Great work. At the end, did you end up abandoning the TP to take the whole squad north? I always end up doing it that way, but I usually end up doing east last (why, as its the worst? I am not sure )
