2. What does the LV 15 cap mean? How does it af,fect the post LV 15 gameplay?

Hey John, welcome to the forum!
The story continues for quite a long time. The game will never force you to grind, and only a few areas will repopulate. Every fight is important, so I would recommend seeking out enemies wherever you can.
Once you buy the chapter, you should be able to progress without any issues. If you're playing the free version, there is no way forward from the area with the scripted fight to save Oskahold. To progress, you must purchase the chapter.
I am not entirely sure what the level 15 cap is. The end of Episode 1, Act 1 if you fought every fight possible, your characters will be right around level 12. By the end of E1A2, you should be 17-18.
I hope this helped, and your purchase will net you around 30-40 hours of game play. Each episode after that (all episodes are a dollar) will expand the story by another 20-30 hours at least.
Good luck and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

If you buy the elite version trust me when i say the game is huge. Dont want to give anything away here but if you purchase all the game offers it is money well spent. You will have 4 new characters to pick from, 3 more episodes, the 4 is not even complete yet. If you buy the boost in option you start a new team when they are at lv 17 at the end of episode 1. There are many threads on the boards that will help explain all of this. If you have played episode 1 and liked it, trust me when i say it just gets better and better.

The extra characters do not come with the Elite version, however, and will need to be purchased separately...
The only difference between Free and Elite is the way in which chapters are purchased. Free you buy each chapter individually, Elite you purchase them all at once when you pay for the game.

2. What does the LV 15 cap mean? How does it af,fect the post LV 15 gameplay? There is no actual cap in play, the text in the store is just trying to indicate how far you can get in each Episode. Our safe guess is level 15. Maybe that is too confusing and could be removed.

Thank you all for the helpful replies but the thing is I only have a dollar to spend for one chapter and won't be able to get anymore more a while so what happens if I complete the story missions what happens? I heard that some enemies repopulate from yalls replies but do they repopulate enough for a good experience? Again i thank in advance for all of your helpful replies and hope the purchuse is worth it

john - two things. First, I really suggest you hop on GPlay and search for the Google Opinion Reward app. In this app, you can answer marketing surveys and get free Google Play Credit. You can easily make a few bucks a month on this app and you could get the rest of the Episodes. Second, the game has a "no grinding" approach, so after the 30-40 hours of content in Episode 1, you will have finished off the available story, combats, and side-quests. At that point, you actually won't be able to do more without moving into Episode 2. So, if you have a max of $1 to spend ever, then Heroes of Steel may not be the game for you. I hope you'll check out the Reward app - easy and free way to rack up some credits.

John, also note that the episode 1 still has good replayability too, story and exploration becomes less a focus, but the tactical and competative options are good for many play thrus.

We don't have a promotion schedule for Heroes of Steel at this time. You can watch our Twitter account (@tresebrothers) or our Facebook page for announcements. With all the launches and Christmas coming, I am not sure we will have one for a while.

@devs! So was sticking around with CK and Star Traders for quite some time now and was tempted to start a Battle Force game. "Been trying to check every single game at least until Star Traders 2 is released". I've played Heroes of Steel years ago only on free and now started a new game and was thinking of spending more time with HOS and leave Templar BF for a while.
My question is, does purchasing elite allows me to save and transfer my leveled characters or do I have to start a new game?

@sinclair - neither Battleforce nor Heroes of Steel feature a transfer feature. You cannot move saves from free to Elite. If you'd like to continue to play your games, then you should just buy the IAPs n the free version
