Just added a few of my turn scores. Also have screenshots on my Steam profile showing the scores. I think we should post the score for first play through since it is pretty easy on the second play through to beat a lot of the turn counts quicker just because you have better gear and Talents. I'm going for an Ironman Hardcore as I call it, no deaths at all. fallen said they may make that a new achievement.

Ok, now I'm really curious. How in the world NoQuitt did you get 6 turns on Infiltration Site?

Ok, now I'm really curious. How in the world NoQuitt did you get 6 turns on Infiltration Site? Rallying Charge 8 for +3mp, Engineer with Capture 6 and Cyclone Reactor for +1mp and also had captain buff him with Pressing need for another +1mp. It's tricky because everything gets so congested in the middle. You have to clear out a path but also manage to keep the Engineer safe because he'll be right out front.

You can do the mission Infiltration Site easily in 3 turns, i think its a bug. Just swap to an engineer and go with him and a 2nd templar west, south west. The captain goes north. Screenshot

Just finished Hive Mind in 15 turns. Got lucky with spawns so had almost no Narv threatening squad which let me focus on taking out the pillars. Only needed to kill the Worm in front of the head then entire squad focused on mind and finished it off in 1 turn.

contributor thanks I finished at 10.4m honor, which is much higher than my first Ironman playthrough. It turns out Rallying Charge 8 is amazing and makes you go fast I was also using a lot of Heat Sink for the later missions, including double Heat Sink for Orbital Defense Battery and Narvidian Core

NoQuitt I went with 2 engineers running heat sink on my latest run through orbital battery as well.

I think one of my best times was about 10 turns for the Siege at Tundeer. My worst was the Factory Core. I had to wait a few turns before pressing on to the other Tac point both times, and wound up with a total of 30. The tight twists and turns gave me flashbacks to TA.

I updated a few more of my turns. Does anyone who plays Ironman, also play a team ahead with an easier difficulty? For example: 1) "Easier" team plays level so you figure out the best way to beat the level 2) "Ironman" team gears up / respec appropriately to beat the level you just play with "Easier" team 3) Repeat 1 & 2 Hive Ship: Outer Hull (9 turns vs. 24 goal) with my little map as a guide and two Scouts for move/stealth. I mapped out all the doors on one playthrough. Then sent one Scout south to hit 5&3, another Scout Northeast to hit 6,4,2, then Captain to the goal at 1.

You don't have to open all the doors to beat that level jknut Check my guide. Great photo though.

Updated some of my turns, been away on vacation. Man, I'm starting to feel a little lame here. Everyone is whoopin my turn count!
It might be fun to do a similar thing with kill counts, eh?

jknut I played a team through on nightmare before moving up to ironman. Easy will let you scout out levels, but the heat and recruitment level rules are so different it doesn't give a good practice for developing an ironman strategy.
