Don't forget to allocate as many last hits to the Hardpoint Cruisers as possible.

Leveling up the heavy hitters... a wise move.

Mastering last hitting to soak up your XP on Cruisers is critical. It gets even more important once you have BC!

Dah, this weekend was a lot busier than I expected. My wife bought Ticket to Ride and wanted to play it pretty much through each day, with breaks just long enough to eat, shower, or go on a single short hike with the dog. I'm going to try to install 4X on my work computer and run my turns ASAP. This is a separate question, but does anyone know if I can run 4X without steam installed? That would be the best situation, although I guess I can bring my laptop to work and play that way.... Also, don't you worry tenbsmith, I'll manage the fleet with the economy. I will just exercise the economy a bit. After all, that which doesn't kill us, only makes us stronger.

Having an Imperator of War who is a Nietzsche fan, makes us stronger. My response about johndramey being too zealous, was an in character thing. Like a senator talking to an Imperator. I don't have true concern in that area. I like the idea of pushing it to the limit, it adds flavor to game.

Maybe tonight... I am having an insane week getting permits for our renovations and moving things around so we can get to work on them... If I can't tonight, then I will need to wait until the weekend, as we are staying with the in-laws.

I really want to do a turn, but finding the time has been a total bitch. I had to complete somewhere on the order of 200 pages of editing over yesterday and today. While I'm sincerely hoping that I'll be able to take it easy tomorrow, I'm not really holding my breath for that.
I'll see if I can't toss my laptop into my bag tomorrow, and if a)no one is playing a cycle and b)I get the time, I'll play a cycle!
If I can't do one tomorrow, I'll hopefully be able to do one this weekend.
Ugh, too much to do, too little time.

johndramey - currently, you're still on the top of the list! Either way, the xeno won't last much longer now that we have MINES As Cory mentioned, we're probably going to have to up the difficulty for the next game

I'm all for upping difficulty next time around.
I really like this idea, Cory. It's a lot of fun and, when we finish the game, we can lock the report thread and have a cool little story that can be deposited in the fan fiction folder.

I seem to recall someone saying something about mines.... well, anyhow, I just want to be sure we develop enough mines for our economy. ;-)

Dah, this weekend was really bad for me. We had a bit of a situation on the homestead that I had to take care of, and then work has been kicking me in the head.
I asked this before, but it got lost in the thread. Is it possible to run the PC ST4X without Steam installed, or does it require Steam?

I have been wrapped up as well with preparing for renovations, as well as a major project that's almost finished(!!), so I haven't had the time to run a cycle either. Right now the earliest I could run a turn would be this weekend.
