Brutus Aurelius - atm Full Auto 5, OW 2, Full Vent 2. Full Vent is becoming so key in my strategy now, including the Cannonier Resupply to get that back to mix.

We... made it through the Hive...
I would not have made it without getting the Paladin before the level.
My level 10 Hydra sacrificed himself for the good of the squad, surrounded by Promethium while the Engineer hobbled his way over to the final Tact Point. He had saved his last charge of Napalm Lance to cover the rest of the crew, and no sooner does he kill two Sitterlings with the detonation than a Lancer walks right through the flames and blasts him to pieces.
Just before Ferdinand fell to the Lancer, our newly deployed Paladin overheated and self-destructed as the Engineer began working on the final TP. It was grueling, and I didn't even rush through it-- we finished in 44 turns, used up every single charge/buff/grenade doing so. It's a wonder we even made it.

Those levels were bruuuutal. They left an epic scar on my team and a burning need for revenge. I've just executed it on the Litch, so that was nice

I'm furious that they took him down. He was the first Hydra who joined our squad, and he had seen 10 battles and killed 93 Xeno, 17 of which were on the Southern Factory Core.
Ferdinand will be avenged, and the entirety of the squad owes him a debt of gratitude. Now we go to cremate every cultist responsible for this loss...

Sorry I've fallen off the radar a bit, still working on this. I actually ran into a bug (at least I think it was a bug) that has kind of killed my squad, so I'm trying to get a new squad up to do this challenge. Maybe fallen can comment on whether or not I'm missing something with this. I was fighting with the xeno over a tact point, I cleared it, and then the xeno came in and retook it. I cleared it again, the xeno took it again. I cleared it a third time, but the little shit monsters retook it a third time. Next turn, I killed every xeno within 4 squares of the tact point (there was a disgusting amount of prometheum around the tact point), but when my engineer tried to capture it nothing would happen. The xeno tact point has 1 hp and when I capture it, my engineer shakes his booty, the tact point registers a hit, but the xeno tact point still has 1 hp. I tried everything I could think of, restarting my phone, force closing battleforce, everything. That tact point is uncapturable now!

Drayan Core: Team Hydra. Brutal with no deaths: +4 points Match ended with 5 Hydras deployed to the field: +5 points Score of 5 for team Hydra. (Edited: durrr, of course the difficulty would only be counted one time. 5 points.) Some people just want to watch the world burn... We truly did leave a scar on the land, and those cultists paid dearly for their heresy.

Can you possibly send in a saved game we could investigate?

Brutal with no deaths: +4 points Match ended with 5 Hydras deployed to the field: +5 points Score of 9 for team Hydra. En1gma, just to clarify, the bonus is a one-time thing for the whole challenge. You don't get the bonus on every level. That would really scew the score. For example, my score from Hydras and deaths was 27. Then I got a +4 bonus for completing it on Ironman, so my overall score was 31. If I got the bonus on every level it would have been 27+92 for 119. Does that make sense. You can check out the spreadsheet here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13OUUxjWwzsEuZmJveRJln76ZbCH7HRpx9ogKKfvtmXo/edit?usp=sharingHydras are on the second page.

I made it through the Infiltration Site, two near deaths ... why would I have a Soldier on Team Neptune? I don't know, but he is a runt. Nearly died, can't seem to kill anything.
"Hilariously", I got my entire team to the top of the staircase and then realized I had skipped the switch. That slowed things down a bit ...

Maybe we should make it an official rule.

Lol Now, finding myself having started the Tunnel Complex too aggressively ... extended fast, looked great, and now being overwhelmed on too many fronts. I am having flashbacks to Kaldun and have to take a break from playing so I can be sure to get this right and not have any deaths on my run.

fallen you're putting up some big numbers for team Neptune! Just got back in the saddle on this one and put up a solid 1 on Drayan Palace. I may need to ask for an extension beyond this weekend if I'm not able to get some crazy time to play. I also think I found a bug, it's in my favor so I'm loath to report it. Also, it's a little bit of an exploit for this challenge. Here's the situation. I only have 517 SP but want to pull out a Neptune. All of my guys need 540 so I decide to just recruit a new one because you can never have too many Neptunes. I hit recruit and it pulls out one of my veterans and charges me the base 500. This has happened on two levels now.

@rearick - thanks for the bug report, good catch. I've added it to our list.
I have been very happy with Team Neptune to date! Kaldun Factory Hive was a dark chapter of our history, but we have put it behind us, may Shalun remember the fallen.
I am currently stuck in the Tunnel Complex, at a nasty turning point. I have 2 TPs, but I can't hold. I either have to risk a lot and try to force the hold, or I have to fall back to the original 1 and try to regroup ... that sounds like a potential loosing strategy lol.
But, from the way the challenge is set up ... having 0 deaths is really important. I have to decide this turn, as I have delayed to long now.
Siege Goliaths? Come on!
