 dayan - about half the crew is carrying weapons that will come right off your technical sheets  I hope I did the AR 177 justice. Those are the two military vehicles I used as references precisely! The Boxer and the M113 "IGLA". |

This project has been extremely good for me as an artist, for which I thank our Patreons immensely. It has become my "too tired to do work anymore" passtime, and pushed me to draw many things I don't get to do in my normal line of work -- environments, interesting lighting, lots of hands, everything from perspective, things in motion. I am just happy to have the opportunity to improve, and this project pushes me in lots of healthy ways. So, thanks Patreons! And, the polls keep it interesting for me. I love community involvement in anything, and Vigilante Skies is no different. I especially love how there are certain community members who had a strong hand in creating an officer aboard the Space Girl. I look forward to growing this one, even if its only a page a week |

Polls are definitely fun in large part cause the forum (Patreon) members are pretty great, but so is fallen's art and story telling in comic form. If you wanna get a little more story in by spacing polls a wee bit further that seems fine to me.
I do propose Space Girl is somewhat shorthanded when the crew is talking to each other as just The Girl... I support the Patreon's decision of course, but so weird to hear it in the pages like that...

Next is why does the prince (if it is the prince) have all that muscle?
a) shoot at captain's party?
b) Insurance? (The prince does have major people that would like him dead.)
c) or a surprise - like a third party joints the party for a shot out?

But what looks like an optical scope for distance shots is actually an installed Helmet Mounted Sight. It feeds a camera overlay to the helmet display for accurate shooting in close quarters, or around corners. |

I feel like I backed the result here into a corner by asking polls about the outcome too early. It might be a function of it being the very first encounter and set of polls. There is a big burden in these first 20 pages of introducing everyone and making sure that this first encounter doesn't consume the entire story (so far, it has!!) I like "the Girl" as shorthand. Sometimes, things get placed on a page just to give a nod at the Patreon vote (... see Ava snapping at Apone, "newbie" in pg 19). |

I did consider this poll ... does the hand-off turn into a fire fight? But, in this case, I have to protect the little fledgling story a bit and avoid throwing that big choice out to the Patreons  You all did vote that the crew does the drop off instead of fleeing, and that the convoy was not the one doing the electronic jamming, instead its the sandstorm. |

um, I can tell this is relaxation for fallen and I am all for that. all I meant was that I didn't need the involvement of quite so many polls. I'd be happy with more art and then more art, and so on. Which I thought was the question, and maybe that was a mistake. It's not that I dislike polls, just that .... bring on the art.  |

Good lord, give him a protective suit with integrated optics? He would have no reservations jumping between the team and anything in their way.
