Any time. Though my suggestion was to use my server -- what you did, is, of course better.

I'm confused, reading the first panel...
Is the original name of the ship the Vigilant, it is that something different? Cause now it's Space Girl...

I'm confused, reading the first panel... Is the original name of the ship the Vigilant, it is that something different? Cause now it's Space Girl... Absolutely. You lovely Patrons just renamed the ship, so I haven't had time to go back and fix the first panel yet. Also, that panel needs to be redone to match the new ship design. The old one, dubbed "the batmobile" by some was replaced around panel 12 or something.

Ava and Derrick ride with the crate as Raven drives the RTV out to the meetup. Still building up the required layers to get this done, but finally, a page away from the hand-off and then we're moving on! As Capt Avery says, "Make the damn hand off (already)!" It is exciting to see the first Gestalt Technologist in the flesh. They're in Star Traders 2 already (without their art), along with the Chasein Doctors, the two very different medical traditions of the Star Traders people. In the end, very happy with the taking off the helmet sequence. Ok, new poll. The unnamed Bounty Hunter clearly arrived on this world in a starship. Likely a small one, just like Space Girl with a crew of less than 10. Now that he is captured and the hand-off is proceeding, should his crew take things into their own hand come buzzing in to try to break up the hand-off? 1) Yes! Try to break up the party with some blazing guns! 2) They're indecisive without their Captain or don't realize what has happened. The sandstorm will take care of it. Let the hand-off end! 3) Something else? Also, link to the full-sized page since these are drawn really much larger.

I have a feeling that the Bounty Hunter would have been arrogant enough or new enough that he simply hadn't expected to lose to the crew of the Space Girl. I don't think his crew knew that he was down, unless he had a comm unit that the crew didn't find when they took him down and searched him. I think they don't really have a clue about what is going on. I vote 2.

My vote is to get the handoff over with finally. Bounty hunters, ship/crew probably are unaware that something went wrong yet and likely won't have a clue until the Spacegirl takes off or their erstwhile leader misses check-in time. After that likely they would need time to figure out what to do next which would all depend on their loyalty to the bounty hunter, and what sort of organization if any they have in place. Are they simply hired hands crewing his ship for the pay with no real loyalty? Is it even his ship or did he hire it as transport for the mission? If it is his ship does he have a second in command/partner that will take charge and look to recover him/take vengence in future or was he the alpha and no clear cut second to fill in even if they are all very loyal to him?

Vote for B
The Hunter could barely shoot straight, let alone think ahead to leave any standing orders for the crew to follow in case of emergency. As much as I would love to see his rag tag crew meet a swift death at the end of Derrick's AR, let's get the deal over and done with.

Great votes and thanks to both for suggesting / outlining thoughts of the bounty hunter's potential crew.
I added a note to #2 that the "sandstorm will take care of it anyway" -- with that howling down the pipe, there isn't going to be time for chit chat anyway.
The votes so far --
#2 - BH crew is not coming, let the sandstorm handle it (+2 Votes)

I assumed if they were coming, they were buzzing overhead in their ship with autocannons roaring. I know Derrick is a surgeon with his AR, but he'd be beating a hot retreat with the rest of them. Either way, seems like a good direction to go -- move it along! #2 - BH crew is not coming, let the sandstorm handle it (+3 Votes)

Well yeah, obviously they'd be in the ship... Didn't the meeting party have those SAM missiles?

Well yeah, obviously they'd be in the ship... Didn't the meeting party have those SAM missiles? Yeah, I think it would be major chaos all around. But, as Capt Ava mentioned on seeing the SAMs, they'd be enough to leave a crater where she and Derrick were, but not enough to take down a full-blow starship. Injure it, yes. Drive it off, maybe. It would be chaos. Running vote tally -- #2 - BH crew is not coming, let the sandstorm handle it (+3 Votes)
